I've only played 4 but I have played that a lot, and I enjoyed how familiar everything looked, from the vaults to the vendors and I swear that little house where the Ghoul had the conversation with Ponch from CHiPs was one of those prefab houses you could build in your settlements.
I'd like to remake my desperately ugly tube shuttle monstrosity I had in the early years of this game, when you'd wander for miles looking for crashed ships. It would be guaranteed to turn heads at the Nexus!
All well and good so long as you can find it before it finds you. I ended up shooting it pretty much point blank from off the horse, he was so quick the horse didn't even have time to panic
I got my first completed set of cards the other day too, very exciting!
Goddam thing was so quick I ended up just ploughing through the undergrowth on my horse and flushing the bastard out that way. Then it was a shotgun pellet or three to the face. Not much in the way of finessin', but got...
Yeah that pauses everything, but in the past you could pause while moving around the map and giving orders and whatnot. In single player this shouldn't be a problem, but it's as if they've forced online-style play onto single player.
I bought this in the Steam sale, but for some reason the single player game doesn't seem to have an active pause, which is both mystifying and very annoying. Honestly wouldn't have bought it if I had known, I'm sure these games used to have it
I'm doing the same, and I'm trying to collect all the 'missables' this time around. I'm at about 45% completion and I've just started Chapter 3 and the only thing I've missed is the Downes fella's notes you can pick up off his table in Valentine early in chapter 2. I didn't go after the rare...
I actually have never played the story right through more than once, I've either continued the epilogue or I don't get past Chapter 3 before stopping playing and then when I return I restart. I also spent a lot of time in Online, but I haven't touched that for a couple of years though.
I thought whatever happened in the 3D universe didn't exist in the HD universe, or has that changed? Or are we talking about about easter egg type references?
I reckon I've played through V at least half a dozen times (and always picked option c), and no doubt I'll go again before the next one comes out. I wish they hadn't have abandoned single player though, that map could have done with another couple of stories. They could have done it with...
So you have settings to build your city and settings to admire your city. I guess like how night time looked good but was a pain in the arse to work with.
The main problem with Odyssey and Valhalla is that they were more 'warriors creed' than 'assassin's creed' and should almost have been a spin-off series. I really enjoyed the settings and time period of both though.
I've just learnt, one year (to the day) after the fact, that apparently you can sell stuff in invite-only lobbies now. Maybe I should pay more attention to things.
Yeah I've seen bike path sitting there for years but I never quite got around to ever trying them. At least I was right about trolley buses being useless bloody things though
I've had a bit of a watch of a few bits and pieces of some of those vids (I mean, some go for over a literal hour) but one startling takeout I've got is bicycle lanes are apparently very useful, and I have never built even one in the many hundreds of hours I've spent on the game. So there's...
