My ranking is perilously close to having 6 digits. I'm hoping it was down to having the wrong rookies on the field, but it's more likely to be the fact that a surprising amount struggled to beat their BE
All of my best scoring players all seemed to be crowded into this afternoon giving me little chance to loophole anything so I went with Macrae because I was pretty certain that he's a safe bet.
If i were to trade Sinclair (or another mid/def) into the midfield instead of Oliver I could avoid a donut, but is that worth it long term when I'll lose (although it is possible I might gain) whatever the difference is between Oliver and Sinclair (or whoever) over the rest of the season whilst...
The only line where i have no question marks is the midfield and that's where my only two playing benchwarmers are. The only way I could fix the defence is to trade in a fwd/def player, but I don't know if it's worth doing that instead of Oliver over the long term. Two trades have to be used...
Hewett out means a definite donut in the backline to go with a possible in the forward line and there's not a god damn thing I can do about it no matter how many times I reverse trades and try all of the things.
I have decided not to leave it at that and will be adding Rosas and Titch for Rowell and JHF. The reason for this is that I kept on reading this thread and that's what happens when you do that.
Was gonna do the Grundy-Pruess thing then was gonna do the English-Preuss thing both of which would have seen some midfield upgrades happen but realised it was a bit silly when I have the world's supply of ruckmen to cover English and Grundy deserves another week or two, so ended up just doing...
Well yes I suppose so, but I guess it really comes down to whether it is best to shore up the backline or the midfield. At the moment I'm thinking probably the backline
I have Rachele but I have too much money so I think I have to trade him for English. I need the extra points now, I mean my team looks virtually the same as everyone else's but somehow I ended up ranked 66000th for the week.
Trading out Rayner, Whitfield and Gawn for Xerri, Hewett and Jackson leaves me with 31 trades and $460k in the bank. I think I can justify the extra trades for that.
Whitfield to Hewett is worth $100k on the trade and possibly another $80k on the projected price changes. Even if they both end up scoring more or less the same for the rest of the year is that still worth it? I've already gone Rayner to Xerri this week.
I've gone Rayner and Hough to Xerri and Stephenson and I'm sorely tempted to go Whitfield for Hewett, but that is exactly the type of trade that always bites me on the arse sometimes.
