I'm staying with a friend - so that part is fine - it's more about whether the trains run afterwards.
The plan was to get to the station straight after the game - but given that would be 11 oclock - wanted to make sure they would still be running.
Ladies and Gents,
Hoping you could help me out.
I'm looking at flying over for the game in July and wanted to know two things
What's the likelihood of being able to secure two tickets to the game (we are WC members so not sure if there are seats put aside)
and secondly
What time do the...
Gents - looking at the fixture - trying to find a game where WC are in Vic and there are some other decent games on the same weekend in Melb
What is the likelihood of getting tickets to the Gee v WC game - would need about 6.
5 years at our club.. most of the senior list would have had a strong connection.
Understandably the focus is on the AFC player welfare at the moment - but I do hope support is given at our club and the option of calling off the game if the players are struggling
Nah - talking about Friday night. Hitting up 3 games this weekend with the boys
Saturday I've got more layers than michellin man as we go from Wc v StK to the Hawks v Sydney game
Now next question... best establishment on King St... ?
Lads sorry for the off topic post -
How cold/hot is it inside Etihad ?
I can see it will be 10 degrees outside - but is it warmer inside the stadium? Obviously no wind helps
Sorry guys - one last one. Which section(s) are usually held aside for General Admission?
I note they want a premium for tickets on the northern wing - however if GA is lvl 3 on the southern wing at Etihad - may as well just go there and save myself 2 beers $20
It is getting ridiculous - you know it is bad when other clubs are giving your sympathy
What is worse - is our KP stocks are still actually competing pretty well and we have another youngster performing really well in his first few league games in the WAFL. So that leaves our midfield... mind...
Lads And ladies - Think I've found the right thread
Heading across for a boys weekend and looking at 5 tix to your game against the blues
At the moment I can get centre wing seats up on the third tier or ground level seats about the forward 50 arc
Any thoughts?
Thanks is advance
I know, I saw him play AFL as well - but in the WAFL he'd lead blokes to the ball, take pack marks and look a class above.
He'd get to the afl and look a genuine potato ...
Classic inbetweener
yeah - something like that. His grand final sprint was hilarious. Strikes me as a bloke earning a free ticket and had a few beers in the firs half...
I'm on your board - but I'm not a Varcoe fan - he'd be in our best 22 - but he doesn't fit our core need - which is quality onballers. People...
For a tall - he is quick - he isn't rioli cat like agile - but few are..
But he dummies and sidesteps with the best of them - and lover an 80m run when given the chance
That is assuming we targeted him though.. it may simply be on Day 1 you guys said he was available and we then put an offer together. If you guys are shopping him, then we could get him for a bag of peanuts.
Onto the player swap - Schofield and Frawley are different players. Schofield isn't...
I agree - clearly if we are offering $1.2M over 3 years we think he is worth it
So no doubt we have something in mind, our list manages said we'd turn over 5-7 players. At present we have turned over 4 - so maybe someone like Sinclair or Schofield has mentioned a trade in their exit interviews...
Here's the thing - what I think we'd offer (or want to offer) and what he is worth to Geelong or on the open market are different.
Varcoe isn't a star, has some star like moments, but ultimately is in the bottom 6 of Geelong.
For mine, I want some pace in the midfield, but guys who can...
Agree - I'd prefer Sinclair purely because he isn't best 22 by virtue of having two talents in front of him, but still a quality player. However Schofield is a Geelong lad, however I just don't see a role for him with Lonergan/Taylor and Rivers already.
Lycett simply won't happen as he is has...
