Reliable poster on our board has confirmed she has signed with Essendon (just giving the AMT retirement news some clear air before confirming).

Rumour GFC 2020 Player Trading, Drafting FA, Rumours and Wish lists

LOL what? He literally did a report on the day that Shiel nominated Essendon that it was down to Hawthorn or Carlton.

    2nds VFL Round 8 - Essendon v Geelong, Windy Hill, 1:00PM Saturday 1 June

Seems Hurley was touch and go, hence why both Hurley and Gumbleton flew to Sydney and Gumbleton was named in the VFL. As for Davis, that would be of the Luke variety, a young kid on our list who shows potential as a tagger. Leon is in WA last I heard. Pears did a similar injury to Egan a...

Preview AFL Round 7 - Geelong v Essendon, Etihad Stadium, 7:50PM Friday 10 May

We did, though there's a reason we only did it once or twice. Hille will make way. Hurley, Carlisle, Heppell, Fletcher and Winderlich should join Ryder back in the team this week.

News Brian Cook rejects North Melbourne offer to stay with Geelong

On the subject of Cook, I have a rumour for you guys. Apparently Cook will be stepping away in April next year (whether that be just time off or full resignation, I don't know) and will be replaced in the interim by Rosie King, who will become the first female CEO in the AFL.

List Mgmt. Geelong at the 2012 AFL National Draft (selections Nos. 16, 77 and 92)

He already is excellent below his feet which is the scary thing. Hopefully he has the career he is so very capable of.

List Mgmt. Geelong at the 2012 AFL National Draft (selections Nos. 16, 77 and 92)

True, he has a lot of beefing up to do, most likely another 15-odd kilograms. The best thing is that he missed the entire 2011 season, meaning he was able to focus on putting some bulk on, which may have actually fast-tracked his development.

List Mgmt. Geelong at the 2012 AFL National Draft (selections Nos. 16, 77 and 92)

Those figures are way out of date. He is currently 201cm and 91kg. That video is from March 2011.

Opinion Will we make the 8?

Just a few little notes. Davey is out of form? He was quiet last week being his first game back from suspension but previous to that he had kicked 22 goals from 9 games. Jetta has had a quiet few weeks, he needs to start impacting the scoreboard again but is no doubt capable. Heppell won't...

How will we go Rounds 14-24 ?

I think your mob will make it. I see a few parallels with Essendon of 2004. The last effort of what was a quality team, in that you will get in to the 8 and maybe win a final, though will not cause too much damage. Our Round 17 clash could be crucial for both our teams.
