Any reason Daisy Pearce doesn't get more gigs? Surprising given the attempts at gender diversity these days. Intelligent, articulate and knows her footy, would much prefer her to most on ch7.
I'm happy about this thread, as before I was suffering quietly on my own. Now it becomes a game of listening out for Jobeisms and sharing the pain together.
"Isaac Heeney dropped a mark that he would usually kick" destroyed me. The line itself, coupled with the fact that it was actually Warner... just.. wow.
This has improved throughout the year. League Teams went to s**t last year, Derm going on long tangents and barely analysing.
Don't mind Dal and Montagna tbh. Unpopular opinion here probably but for me it's a nice change having a few women rather than just the token 1.
Meh.
I can tolerate him On the Couch etc but hate when he calls Sydney games, he has an obvious dislike for us which he does a really poor job of hiding. Very negative, if we are beating up on someone he won't say anything complimentary, simply critisises the opposition.
Was thinking that, pretty huge blunder at such a key moment.
Pretty sure he didn't know what the next final was called too, because he kept avoiding saying "semi final" and instead just said to make West Coast "go on in 2017".
All just another standard Basil cook up.
I'm sure this has been discussed elsewhere but loved his epic burn on Carey from Friday night http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/brian-taylor-met-with-awkward-silence-after-jab-at-fellow-commentator-wayne-carey/news-story/0f331aeab93bf9732703acf0ea2e9419
In good form is BT.
Didn't want to start a thread so dug up this one, anyone else been cringing at some of the puns on the AFL website after games?
I often look to the site after a big game because they usually have a really good new image, and sometimes the caption along with the photo will capture the aftermath...
