If he’s still on the list when pre-season starts, put him in the same group as Taranto. After a month he will either be fitter than he ever has, or he will quit. Either is better than another half-arsed season spent in the VFL.

It just goes to show how tenuous things are for Sydney Stack. He's right on the edge. Talent alone isn't enough to make it in the AFL.

It looks to me like it's a choice between the talented but immature Sydney Stack or the limited but improving RCD. If we got a half-decent trade offer for either of them, I think that would be the deciding factor.

Do you mean if Stack did what is expected of a professional footballer? He hasn't yet demonstrated the maturity to do so. I hope he grasps the opportunity before it is too late.

I loved Shedda's game on the weekend and if he's got enough in the tank for one last finals series then that's great news for us. I don't think he will or should play on in 2023. Might get Houli'd.

I strongly disagree. Stack is not "plenty fit enough". He plays forward, so isn't covering midfield km. He goes missing for whole quarters, often just walking or jogging around on the fat side of the ground when the ball is pinging down the other wing. He is a multi-effort player at times, but...
