The only way I see a Red Card system working is if a player is reported on the spot for an act that sees an opposition player removed from the field on a stretcher.
At least in these cases, it is clear cut and not open to interpretation too much.
I don't think there is any one person that can change anything and I doubt Gillon plans to unless his hand is forced.
Collectively, fans as a group, can make a difference. However this would need to be drastic and well organised. If enough fans agreed not to show up to their game on the same...
Is it just me that thinks it's a little contradictory for the MRP to say that each incident is treated seperately, on its own merits, without precedence, yet at the same time taking a players poor record into consideration?
