MRP / Trib. Shane McAdam Bump on Jacob Wehr

The guy Buddy hit was concussed, and he only got 1! Potential for injury is worse than actual injury.

MRP / Trib. Shane McAdam Bump on Jacob Wehr

Not only are bumps banned now, but tackling too. Think how many players have been injured in tackles. Way too much potential for injury! Also gotta ban contested marking, lots of knees in the back, leg injuries from bad landings, tonnes of potential for injury! And you know when most players...

MRP / Trib. Shane McAdam Bump on Jacob Wehr

So you agree that Buddy should’ve gone for 4+ then. Actually caused injury.

    How many weeks for Mackay?

    Agreed, Clark 5 weeks.

    How many weeks for Mackay?

So at the same time: - A player can't be expecting contact when gathering a loose ball and so should go in low and open without any threat of contact - A player knows exactly whether or not they'll get to a loose ball contest first, every time, without fail, in a split second

    How many weeks for Mackay?

Nick Holman - 2 weeks- overturned, free to play

Player handballed it away, not much of a tackle.

    Dangerfield on Kelly

    What an absolute campaigner.
  9. JP Sauce

    Dangerfield on Kelly

Yes. Should a punch to the face that knocks someone out get the same penalty as a gentle bop on the nose?
  10. JP Sauce

What should Callum Sinclair receive for his massive FLOP?

If you want to stamp it out then suspend them.

Trent Cotchin bump on Dylan Shiel

Definitely should miss. There's no way he can't. He won't.

Is Patrick Dangerfield in trouble for this tackle? - now with poll!

Let me stop you right there.
  13. JP Sauce

Is Patrick Dangerfield in trouble for this tackle? - now with poll!

Let me run it through the MRP's criteria: Brownlow favourite? Yes. Media darling? Yes. Nothing to see here. Kreuzer to apologise for any stress he caused Dangerfield by getting knocked out.

Hogan on Sam Rowe; Lewis coward punch on Cripps. How many weeks?

Just punched a guy in the jaw.
  15. JP Sauce

Rance's hit to the back of Watts' head.

Got him in the neck. Should get a $10k reward.

    Hodge gone! How long?

I'm not arguing the impact grade, but I don't understand how it could be deemed anything other than intentional. Was he not trying to bump Wingard in the head? If not, what was he doing?
  17. JP Sauce

    Hodge gone! How long?

Intentional, medium and high. 3 weeks.
  18. JP Sauce

    Hodge gone! How long?

"******* Hodgey, gotta look after ******* Hodgey"
  19. JP Sauce

    Hodge gone! How long?

Hahahaha of course he got 2 weeks! A 2 week suspension was paying $1.01. What a completely unsurprising disgrace.

    Jack Viney

The rules are ridiculous, but they ARE the rules at the moment. Viney is lucky he didn't get 4.

    Jack Viney

Crows fans think it's a joke too. But we also think that IF they have decided to find him guilty then there's absolutely no way they justifiably call it medium level impact when Lynch will miss 5 or 6 weeks with a broken jaw.

    Jack Viney

Smack should've been given life. ;)

Slight concussion (plays next week) = high impact rating Broken jaw (will miss 6 weeks) = medium impact rating AFL Logic!
  24. JP Sauce

    Jack Viney

Well they're still comparable and it saves us creating another thread. Both players were suspended for incidents that were "good footy" a few years ago. The Viney one is particularly absurd but the AFL has set the precedent with the Fyfe and Douglas cases.

    Jack Viney

Crows supporters don't agree with it either, but this is what the AFL is now. "Ridiculous in isolation, but not ridiculous seeing as the AFL itself is ridiculous."
  26. JP Sauce

    Richard Douglas suspension

    R.I.P. the bump.
  27. JP Sauce

Taylor Walker - how many weeks?

Unless there was a 24 hour delay before Morris' injuries became apparent, he didn't actually end up in a wheelchair and is perfectly fine - something Sanderson would've been fully aware of during the press conference.
