  1. The Prosecutor

Congratulations to Eleni Glouftsis , first woman to umpire an AFL senior match

Mixture. She's genuinely bad which is largely due to being fast tracked into the league, so its not all her fault. But she also stands out more because she is female, while some other umpires can just blend into one another.

Rules Toby Green 14 weeks suspended - a couple more will he be deregistered?

I believe there was some provision where a one-week suspension in the AFL was deemed 0.5 weeks in relation to this rule. However that's only a vague recollection.

Toby Greene makes contact with umpire - Update: Suspension Increased to 6 weeks on Appeal

I think it ends up being two, wouldn't be surprised if it's +/- one week either.

    50m Penalties - Why

They really need a 15m or 25m alternative, 50m is just too big a punishment in most cases.

    MRP / Trib. Jack Viney

You're missing a lot of things. Four weeks.

    Buddy Elbow -how many week?

Say what you will about the precedents this year, but the fact that Buddy can play this week after that action says there's something seriously wrong.

    Steven Hocking Conflict of Interest

Steve Hocking literally been made Geelong CEO. Ill get the popcorn!

Michael Christian... Please explain - The Cunnington bump

    The tackle I assume. https://www.essendonfc.com.au/news/900694/langford-charged-by-mro

How many weeks for Tom lynch?

If Merrett got a week for his swinging arm, Lynch has to as well.

Live Event Toby Greene fronts the tribunal - Suspension appeal

Only 10 minutes have passed and this post hasn't aged well.
  11. The Prosecutor

Matthew Nicholls is the worst umpire in the AFL.

Nathan Williamson is by far the worst. Will not accept any other suggestions.

    Question about Free Kicks

Nathan Williamson (umpire #22) is perhaps the worst umpire currently getting regular games. I'm tempted to do a montage of just how s**t he has been over the past 6 weeks.

    Hodges elbow on Swallow

If people genuinely think only Essendon supporters would've reacted to the ASADA s**t the way they/we did need only read this thread.
  14. The Prosecutor

Reece Conca: My word that was bad...

Ahh well, will only cost him a couple of games and a Brownlow. No biggie.
  15. The Prosecutor

Nil consistency with the MRP... again.

Why does the end result matter? Surely it's the action that should be punished.
  16. The Prosecutor

    Jack Viney

Look, I think the guilty verdict is bullshit, but at the same time, how do they then only classify it as medium. He's either clear or it's high/sever impact.
  17. The Prosecutor

    MRP round 4

How about a video that shows just how soft an unavoidable it was as opposed to a screenshot.
  18. The Prosecutor

    Two weeks for this?

Elected to bump and made contact to the head. Those are the rules, doesn't matter if the bump is implemented with your head or shoulder.
  19. The Prosecutor

    Nathan Fyfe Suspended

They have Hawthorn and Essendon next too. Really bad time for Freo to lose him.
  20. The Prosecutor

    Grand Final Umpires

Basically, if you know who they are, chances are they are s**t.

    Grand Final Umpires

"Please not Nicholls, please not Nicholls." *Opens thread* "Ahh *."
  22. The Prosecutor

    Chapman gone

This is one of the most illogical posts I've seen. So two people could do the exact same action with the exact same force on two different players, but one could get suspended because the player he bumped had a higher propensity to get injured? The actions should be judged on the act...
  23. The Prosecutor

Jack Ziebell given 4 week suspension. 3 with a guilty plea

If he's been convicted three separate times for three separate incidents, I'd say the chances are he's a murderer.
  24. The Prosecutor

Jack Ziebell given 4 week suspension. 3 with a guilty plea

Wait, he did it to protect Lyons? :D He could've just, you know, kept running in the same line like most players do. He didn't need to jump into him at all and now he's going to pay the price of that decision.
  25. The Prosecutor

Jack Ziebell given 4 week suspension. 3 with a guilty plea

It's a lot to ask, but don't be ridiculous. He follows through with his running action and nothing happens.
  26. The Prosecutor

Jack Ziebell given 4 week suspension. 3 with a guilty plea

The ball was gone, he braced, he jumped, he got him high. It's pretty damn clear cut.
  27. The Prosecutor

Jack Ziebell given 4 week suspension. 3 with a guilty plea

The ball was well and truly gone when he laid the bump!
