She's genuinely bad which is largely due to being fast tracked into the league, so its not all her fault. But she also stands out more because she is female, while some other umpires can just blend into one another.
I believe there was some provision where a one-week suspension in the AFL was deemed 0.5 weeks in relation to this rule. However that's only a vague recollection.

So two people could do the exact same action with the exact same force on two different players, but one could get suspended because the player he bumped had a higher propensity to get injured?

He could've just, you know, kept running in the same line like most players do. He didn't need to jump into him at all and now he's going to pay the price of that decision.
