    Favourite player from each club?

Reading through the thread, Pendlebury has a few fans doesn't he? He'll be a very popular Brownlow medallist one day.

Cool idea for a list Adelaide: Walker Brisbane: Golby Carlton: Robinson Collingwood: Pendlebury Essendon: Howlett Fremantle: Walters Geelong: Motlop GWS: Cameron Gold Coast: Ablett Hawthorn: Mitchell North Melbourne: Petrie Melbourne: Terlich Port Adelaide: Schultz Richmond: Maric St Kilda...

    Opinion End of 2014 ladder

My ladder always changes a lot between January and March, but I might as well have an early crack. 1. Sydney 2. Fremantle 3. North Melbourne 4. Hawthorn 5. Essendon 6. Richmond 7. Adelaide 8. Collingwood 9. Geelong 10. West Coast 11. Carlton 12. Brisbane 13. Port Adelaide 14. Gold Coast 15...

Opinion 10 most over rated current players

So you agree that it's wrong to say he hasn't improved at all in the past two or three years? For what it's worth, I don't agree that he hasn't improved from 2011.

Opinion 10 most over rated current players

With respect, that's just flat out not true. He improved markedly in 2011, spent all of 2012 injured, and then improved again in his next season. I'm not sure what you mean by that comment. Hopefully with an injury free pre-season he can improve again, but we'll see. I haven't heard any...

Opinion 10 most over rated current players

Which footy fans are you talking about, BF? I'd have thought Leuey was the classic case of a ruckman whose worth couldn't be summed up with statistics. He certainly makes the Lions a dangerous prospect at forward stoppages, in a team that's not particularly strong at clearances and doesn't...

    Top 100 players since 1980

And also someone like Josh Francou would no doubt have made the list if he'd managed a couple more injury-free seasons.

    Top 100 players since 1980

It's a great list. Top work. The only comment I'd make is that I reckon the Port Adelaide team of 02-04 is probably a bit underrated. Wanganeen at 31 is about right, but 42 seems quite low for Tredrea and 88 low for Chad Cornes. I'd have thought Byron Pickett, Peter Burgoyne and Matthew Primus...

Varcoe. That's one I just dead set forgot. Cheers zb. Will update OP. Unfortunately it pushes one of my favourite young players going around out of the list in Stevie Motlop.

Broughton is over 25 as well. Thanks for the feedback, Freomaniac, but we'll have to agree to disagree on Zac Clarke. I think Pearce is quite a bit better, certainly on 2012 form. Clarke probably has more potential, though. I reckon there's a good chance Walters will go past both of them in...

    Top Five Under 25

See, the problem is, you set it there and Freo fans complain that Barlow only misses out by two weeks, and then someone else complains, and so on. One arbitrary cut off point is as good as another, I think. In any case, its not an exercise meant to capture all good players. Its meant to give a...

Instead of Smith? I think I'd probably take Smith. Wouldn't be much in it, though.

    Top Five Under 25

G’day all Was having a discussion on another website about how Sydney, St Kilda and Hawthorn are the three oldest teams in the league (or so I’m told) but how most people reckon the Saints will drop down the ladder while Sydney and Hawthorn are genuine premiership chances. I think it comes...
