I reckon this is a great pick up by Port. They are gunning for a flag in the now, so to get someone who at the very least provides immediate good cover, at best will improve their best 22 (marginally) as a two-way running mid, and on a rookie wage, is a very smart move.
Not sure about that part, but we traded with the Bulldogs before the Darcy bid, then traded with Collingwood after the Darcy bid but before the Daicos bid.
We did an initial trade with Bulldogs and got pick 52 in that. Then, after Bulldogs matched the Darcy bid, pick 52 came into pick 48. That pick 48 then went to Collingwood.
Sorry if it's a bit off topic, but Adelaide's 2002 rookie draft haul would have to be just about the best ever. Nathan Bock at pick 25, Ben Rutten at 40 and Marty Mattner at 51. From their 2nd, 3rd & 4th rookie picks they got 440 games, 1 x B&F (Bock) and 2 x AA (Bock & Rutten), as well as...

In a...

Would O'Meara and GC 3rd round pick for North's 2017 first round pick (only say 2017 because GC has plenty of 2016 picks for its academy players), Atley and Thompson be a fair trade?
