Recommitted Hunter Clark [OOC 2023] - Linked with North, manager says he's staying

Personally hope we’re not, the story I heard over a month ago was he called Jy, and of course with Clarko on board people in the media are connecting the dots. He can be a damaging player but at 900K you want a superstar not icing on the cake. At north I’d rather keep the cash for LDU, larkey...

Recommitted Hunter Clark [OOC 2023] - Linked with North, manager says he's staying

Sure and that may well be the case but list management isn’t a simple matter of if you have enough cap space now. You have to consider the overall age profile of your list, other players coming out of contract while Hill is contracted and if the 900k a season could be better used elsewhere...

where's your house? only way I can see it is if it were to be a part of a salary dump deal to take Hill's exorbitant salary off their books.

Traded Jason Horne-Francis [to Port Adelaide in multi-club trade]

Yeah agree, be interested to see how Phillips goes as well once over his glandular.

22 getting a game ahead of him at present, sorry I don’t really watch any crows games where are they on the ladder at present? Top 4 surely if you rate him so highly but can’t get a game!

Nobles was contracted to end of this season.

Traded Ben Brown [Traded to Melbourne with #28 and Future 4th Round Pick for #26, #33 and Future 4th Round Pick]

Hmmm, always thought a great small forward would feast off brown work when the ball hit the ground. Great for for the Lions, Charlie would probably win the Colman. Massive upgrade on hipwood

Traded Ben Brown [Traded to Melbourne with #28 and Future 4th Round Pick for #26, #33 and Future 4th Round Pick]

May have wrongfully assumed gws had something in the academy. Personally I don’t believe in trading picks for stars. Waiting a little longer and throwing cash at them as free agendas makes a lot more sense. Polec too who was pretty much BOG. Delivery into fwd 50 been atrocious. And Polec...

Traded Ben Brown [Traded to Melbourne with #28 and Future 4th Round Pick for #26, #33 and Future 4th Round Pick]

terrible run with injuries last few years. And worse again this year. So not as bad as it looks. Club does have a lot of young talent, and admittedly aging older talent still goes well (goldy, Higgins, Tarrant). Problem is not much in the way of 23-26 year old talent to take over from the...

Traded Ben Brown [Traded to Melbourne with #28 and Future 4th Round Pick for #26, #33 and Future 4th Round Pick]

Already have 2 and 6 in this draft on current ladder spots. And by all reports a very compromised draft with academy, father son, then the added risk of little exposed junior form due to Covid. Getting picks and on trading to a club needing points (gws is in defecit) for a star player would...

agree but Polec, Higgins, Simpkin and Dumont are no slouches delivering inside 50. I think the club just has too many best 22 injuries at present so those guys aren’t able to get it in space and always disposing under pressure. Cunnington is very sorely missed.

Traded Ben Brown [Traded to Melbourne with #28 and Future 4th Round Pick for #26, #33 and Future 4th Round Pick]

Your 100 pct correct. To be honest not sure what he’s worth but given north have an abundance of cap space you’d have to think they’d be wanting a top 10 pick at a minimum or a player that fills a need.

Traded Ben Brown [Traded to Melbourne with #28 and Future 4th Round Pick for #26, #33 and Future 4th Round Pick]

if the price is right It wouldn’t be the end of the world for north. if McKay and or durdin can hold down key defensive posts, Maj and or walker can swing forward, but think Charlie Comben is the player that is really gonna be THE player our forward line is based around. Big call as the...

Kicked 10 against port toward the end of last season. How the form of the two respective sides has changed! Brown’s problem this season is the poor delivery inside 50. It has been an issue for a while now and made worse by larkey being out. Hell wayne Carey would (almost) struggle the way...

Recommitted Shaun Higgins [signed a contract to the end of 2021]

Agree, I'd stay put if I was him too, but there has been speculation (rightly or wrongly) that he's seeking more opportunities elsewhere.
  16. The Dingrel

Recommitted Shaun Higgins [signed a contract to the end of 2021]

I don't think so, Higgins is contracted. As for Goldy, he'll be taking a paycut. It is not a simply matter of signing a contract and that being the end of it. There'd be an in principle agreement in place and a lot more at play with potential trades etc, to see what Goldy's contract may look...

Recommitted Shaun Higgins [signed a contract to the end of 2021]

think thats a very strong chance of happening. Wont trade out one of our best (contracted) players for nothing. Hasn't there been talk Constable wants out though to seek more opportunities? Could be mutually beneficial for both clubs and players.

He doesn't owe us anything, I'd be glad to watch him go around again anywhere he chooses if that's his decision. BUT if he does, I'd like to see him win a flag and if he thinks he can at the bulldogs then good on him, and good luck to the dogs, I'd certainly cheer him and the team on in every...

Personally think boomer will be a 1 club player BUT if he decided to go around for another year or two with the Hawks I reckon he'd do so with the blessing and support of all the NMFC faithful...... In fact I'd even go so far to say theyd be my second team and I'd even want to see them win for...

Simmo brought Brady Rawlings with him who has a young family...maybe he would and then join in a coaching capacity. Personally think for Boomer its North or nothing, might be wrong and he may have changed his tune now that the end of the road has arrived. Id be disappointed in North if they...
