Given the GWS "marquee" signings thus far have been 2 21 year olds, a 22 year and a 20 year old i doubt they are going to get a 30 year old with a pretty poor history. Not saying they shouldn't but clearly the Giants are bracing for short term pain for a lofty long term gain.

Surely GWS will list Valenti, 24 year old with back ti back listons, even if no-one else wants him for a trade he is the type of player they need for at least the first few seasons. He is too good a player not to be on an AFL list and would bolster the giants clearance work for the young kids...
