Alignment options seem limited at the moment.
The four clubs in the VFLW without an AFLW licence are Darebin, Williamstown, Essendon and Hawthorn.
You can safely rule out an alignment with the Bombers and Hawks. Darebin are a fiercely independent women's only sports club, so they seem...
Only reason they didn't change the name earlier was that Arden Street wasn't ready for VFLW matches. And it's not a suggestion, but fact from actually speaking with the coaches and players during and after that period.
*Apologies to Richmond fans for debating a Norf issue in your sub-forum.
That comes with an * - In 2018 & 2019 Melbourne Uni was just a 'name' in the VFLW, as North pulled all the strings, the coaching staff was North Staff, a good chunk of players were North players and the side trained out of Arden Street.

Safe to say, quite a few in the Women's footy community are shocked, as we mostly thought the Tigers (being one of the financially stronger clubs) would have easily kept this fairly...
Finals are 1v2, 3v4 and 5v6 under the VFL's system.
Collingwood v Saints at Vic Park (Qual. F)
Bulldogs v Richmond at NorthPort (Elim)
Geelong v MU or Hawks at NorthPort (Elim)
Winner of Dogs v Tigers plays winner of Pies v Saints in Major Semi Final.
Game will also be heard live on RSN Carnival 2 digital radio in Melbourne, WARFRadio.com and the VFL app.
*In case the Tigers lose and the Hawks win, we go straight to the Cats v Blues game after the final. Cats percentage will be a critical factor.
Today's game against the Doggies should be both on radio and video stream (fingers crossed).
From 3.30pm via RSN Carnival 2 digital radio in Melbourne, the VFL app and WARFRadio.com
From 3.55pm the video stream via Facebook.com/WARFRadio
