Look I havent been a fan of the way the top SANFL clubs have treated the comp in the past, but in this instance they are justified. 3 day break? They were told matches would be played on their byes apparently.

Norwood sending a reserves side this week to play east freo. Scehduled to play 3 days after their match in the SANFL :p

The qualifiers for NEAFL and Tasmania clubs is good as well. essentially the AFL has done exactly what everyone wanted them to.

The AFL wont bow to SANFL extortion on this issue, there hasnt been a single contrite word from HQ about increasing the prize money to encourage the elitist SA clubs to come on board. Probably because the AFL is already ticked at the fact their funding comes by way of bankrupting Port Adelaides...
