Physics Time Travel - Will it ever be possible?

Will it ever be possible? Sure. Most things will be in time. Will anyone currently on this planet see it in their lifetime, I would doubt it.

Astronomy Dark sites in Melbourne’s West

Go for a nice weekend up to Echuca on the Murray. Lots of open space out there between Deniliquin and the border where there is amost zero light pollution. You will see so much more, the further you get away from the metro areas. It’s the one thing I miss about living in surburbia.

Astronomy The Space Gallery - Images of and about space

Neil DeGrasse spent 10 minutes talking about this pic when I saw him a few weeks ago. Lights dimmed, he quoted Sagan as the screen zoomed in on the "pale blue dot". 4000 people in the room hanging on every word.

    Astronomy Neil DeGrasse Tyson tour

So yeah, Neil was great last night. Went over a bit of stuff that he spoke about last time, but I guess he was always going to. Made several references to Trump and his stupidity, without naming him, which was amusing. Hopefully think.inc post the video of the night.

Anyone else headed to this in the coming days? I saw him last time he was out and thoroughly enjoyed the night, so I'm headed to see him again with the wife. Prof Allan Duffy will also be speaking and hosting the night.

I just watched the International Space Station pass over my home

A fella I follow on instagram and Facebook who takes pics with his SLR/telescope set up got a shot of the ISS passing between us and the sun. Some of his other shots are fantastic. Well worth a follow. Search "Dylan O'Donnell".

Eccentric isn't even the start of it. He literally hires out centuries old castles to play hide and seek with his friends. Still leading the world with innovation, but he's an odd unit.

Astronomy NASA finds 7 Earth-sized planets orbiting nearby star

There was a story I read, just skimmed, a day or so after this broke, maybe it was a week later actually... that they realised the planets probably had a lower chance of having earth like atmospheres than first thought. Did anyone see that, because I can't find any articles.

Innovations & Tech Neuralink - Brains and AI

This sort of stuff is a little concerning for mine. I'd like think that it will be a slow burn, and we'll not have too much to be worried about while scientists continue to develop the tools and monitor their use....but then I wonder if this sort of technology will get the wrong sorts of minds...

Possibly, but not a great deal I'd have thought. I'm looking forward to finding out exactly what these planets atmospheres consist of.... Someone needs to hurry up wth that warp drive and get some bods on their way over there.
