What is your most hated ground that has been used for AFL?

You seriously would prefer the Arctic? As the great Rod Marsh once said... 'Nah mate'.

Pretty sure Corona is still brewed in Mexico only... and shipped here in bottles.

It's not so much that... It's the time that the footy is on... It's always on at 'hungry time'...

    Marvel Stadium

Two Coronas... $9.50 each... And a little pottle of fries - $5.50... That's how much we pay... so stop complaining...

What is your most hated ground that has been used for AFL?

The Gabba back in the days of the dog track was crap-city. Horrible seating... (nothing close to the field of play) 40m lines instead of 50m...

Sydney Olympic Stadium to be demolished and rebuilt

Let's not forget rugby and the odd Bledisloe and the ever popular soccer exhibition games against premier league clubs..

    Stadium with the best atmosphere

I'm yet to experience Optus. Might go for the Ashes.

    MCG needs to increase capacity

That was my point. I don't think the MCG has ever had 100,000 seats... well not unless you count deck chairs at a Billy Graham crusade.

    Stadium with the best atmosphere

People rave about the MCG... and with good reason... but I don't think as a stadium it has the best atmosphere in the AFL... Because of the small size of the playing surface and the compacted incline of the stands... the SCG has the by far the greatest atmosphere... the crowd noise echoes and...

Nah... it's only a bee's proverbial over 95K these days.

Whitten Oval set to be revived

I'd prefer to see the Bulldogs taking a home game to somewhere regional like they used to...

Whitten Oval set to be revived

Great idea. Though very expensive. Will there be a Legends Stand anywhere? For $150m you at least want to provide a serious third stadium in Melbourne.., not just a nice training facliity.

    The 'Gabba (Brisbane Cricket Ground)

Yeah you're right... And I like the fact that it's actually not just stuck in the middle of nowhere... (like Metricon) There's plenty of pubs nearby so you can meet up before the game... (or retire to if the cricket finishes early)... Families can kick the ball around Raymond Park (or Pineapple...

    The 'Gabba (Brisbane Cricket Ground)

Very true. The Dean Bros need to come in the middle of the night and bulldoze a whole heap of seats. Going to the footy or cricket is a social event for many people and while no one wants a return to the 'messy' bad old days of the hill... some freedom of movement would be nice...

    Brighton Homes Arena (The Reserve)

Coorparoo is a former QAFL club that was purchased by the Lions. Yeronga is the HQ of the QAFL... both facilities are pretty good... BUT... Springfield is a growth area... it's booming... the train station there is huge... There's even a lagoon at the shopping centre Poor old Coorparoo...

    Brighton Homes Arena (The Reserve)

Well two obvious choices - Coorparoo and Yeronga. Especially if looking for the dual ground config. But politics rules I guess and the $$$ lures the club outside of Brisbane. Just like when the Bears played in the Albert Shire.

    Brighton Homes Arena (The Reserve)

It's a shame they won't be playing in Brisbane.

    The 'Gabba (Brisbane Cricket Ground)

The biggest problem with the Gabba is that even when it was 'finished' in 2005 - it was already more than a decade old.

    The 'Gabba (Brisbane Cricket Ground)

They tried standing room behind the benches for a while... which was a good idea (a lot of people like to stand and mingle on the Stanley Street side of the ground).

Moved Thread Optus Stadium capacity should be increased to 80,000

80,000 would be amazing for a Derby - the place would rock... But I'd hate to think how cavernous the place would feel on other occasions - say for the BBL or ODI. If you're going to build another tier - put out a tender for some tarps as well... it's be the top of Mount Davis all over again.
