Is a full-sized football used? Maybe a smaller ball would be beneficial for kicking (accuracy and distance), marking and general control.

I'm happy with it at this point in time. The skills are somewhat under-developed in many of the players. That will change though as females play the sport from an earlier age. That so many players can still be learning the game after transitioning from another sport shows. Happy to give it time.
