I liked Smack, still think in the right side he has something to offer. Yes I thought he might get delisted as per my post in trade and free agency but I feel sorry for him and any of our forwards that had to put up with that midfield delivery courtesy of a poor game plan. The bounce had a...
Should be affiliated with an AFL club that's willing to develop players on Mornington peninsula with opportunity for young kids to join an academy as reward of development....
Upgrade on Thurlow and I think a better option than steinberg. Only 24 and generally the rule suggests players his size dont mature until age 26 soooo good luck to him.
to offset that we have long and The irish man to develop, plus laverde and langford, so I think we've had a good drafting period.
doesnt matter about gumbys defensive pressure its his ability to take contested marks without making our forward line too top heavy...i'd say with crameri's injury concerns he is a chance to return, lets hope we stop kicking to our pockets when he does.
Re: VFL Round 2: Frankston v Bendigo (Bombers) Gold

Re: National Draft Pick # 59 - Nick O'Brien
yeah well Dodoro left the impression that he could even play midfield at some stage with is endurance.

Read he will...
Re: National Draft Pick # 59 - Nick O'Brien

Im putting the Zahar stamp on him - 2 or 3 years before he matures into a very handy player for...
Re: National Draft Pick # 59 - Nick O'Brien
Dodoro on SEN was pretty excited about this kids midfield potential. He may start in the forward or backline and then after a pre-season or two be moved to a tagging like role. Who knows.
But all these kids we just drafted need another pre-season...
Re: National Draft Pick # 59 - Nick O'Brien
I remember watching this episode lol. I think it made dicko's top of the list events of the year.
Obviously he will be nicknamed 'Moose', Hope he has an impact, can see the crowd chanting Moooooooooose. Big Fella's a unit.
I hope it happens but I hope we just dont dump bendigo, I think if we have some deal that a certain number of bendigo players remain on the Essendon VFL list could be beneficial. We then still have the possibility to unearth another S. Crameri whilst gaining control to employing other potential...
