3. 1963 Victoria vs SA: SA win at the MCG for the first time in decades.

Ebert was flying over each week apparently, so did okay (polled better than team mates Greig and Blight in the Brownlow that year).
Won another Magarey in 1980.
Cornes didn't do much at North (didn't get along with Barassi), but managed a Tassie medal the following year (1980).

Yes, this is pretty accurate.
Woodville's best run was when Blight returned as playing coach and eventually got them to a preliminary final.
Centrals ended up being successful, but it took them a very long time (over 30 years) to make a grand final and even longer to win a flag.
