Supposedly they showed the opening game LIVE on GEM without telling anyone. Bastards! Would have loved to watch it and checked the schedule on GEM that morning and they didn't update their programming guides even though they showed it in the end.

I have been once and will never attend again until it is at Perth Oval. Shocking atmosphere and way too far from the action. When I went it was with a group of Kiwis and Irishmen. Seemed to be mostly ex-saffers, Kiwis, Poms, etc. Although still a lot of "home breds" if you could say that.
