Bingo. After trying for half an hour on my TV (which is pretty old) I got a smaller one which was a bit newer and it didn't skip but it was black and white so I tried it on my parents TV which is new and it worked perfectly :thumbsu:

Yep PS3 is region free so that isn't the problem, maybe the different volts of electricity between the Aussie and American consols or TV's has something to do with it? I think it might be a problem with the TV, VCR (which is what ive got connecting the PS3 to the TV) or maybe the cables... And...

I bought College Hoops 2k8 on the PS3 and received it today but it won't work properly, the TV keeps jumping but the game itself is working (I can get into a game etc) but the jumping makes it unplayable. Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

The 2k series has been better then Live for a while now, just online its crappy. If you don't play with an Aussie or NZer the lag is just painful not to mention it's hard to find anyone sometimes... If anyone wants to hit me up for a game on it my PSN is MD43. Jeffers I've added ya ;)

Yeah it should be at least the same size. Every game has been bigger than the last and GTA 4 is on a better gaming platform. Wonder if it's just Liberty City or these are others (Carser City or whatever it is thats always mentioned maybe in there as well?). Can't wait to play it, it looks...

I got the game for Christmas, my players arn't improving even when they level up with experience. Do I have to do something else for them to improve?

What do you guys rate it out of 10 and what are the pros and cons? Im thinking about buying it but im not 100% sure yet.
