Live and learn, eh? No biggie, I've emailed them and I'll call in the morning to switch some stuff out, they haven't shipped yet, so should be right.

    New Macbook Pros are out

I'm going to have to upgrade to a bigger/ better mac before uni next year, but I really can't go without USB ports as I like to keep mini-USBs in the side of my laptop at all times so I've always got one handy and can chuck stuff that will clog up memory on there. I don't think it has an...

    Building a PC - around $1000

I would look into it, but I don't plan on buying until around early to mid November. I've promised myself that I won't get all the parts until I finish exams. Obviously hasn't stopped me wasting all my time looking for parts, though. Maybe I'll just cut down on peripherals, then.

    Building a PC - around $1000

I am limited by how much I want to pay, even an extra $30 to get up to 240GB brings me above $1300 total, which is way above what I'd originally budgeted. I'm still not entirely convinced that I'll get one at all. With the case fan, I might just pick one up after building the PC if needed...

    Building a PC - around $1000

I'm not really too keen on having to upgrade it regularly, at least, not for performance. I'll upgrade as things need to be upgraded, not because they can be upgraded.

    Building a PC - around $1000

Thanks for all the info, I'll definitely look into that. I'm far western suburbs, so it'll be a bit of a trek, but it's not the first time I've been recommended to them, so I'll be sure to check them out.

    Building a PC - around $1000

I'm looking at building myself a nice new PC over the next few months before Battlefield 1 comes out Honestly, I've got no clue about which parts to pick or where to grab them from, but will be doing research until I'm ready to commit. Looking at a budget of around $1000 barring peripherals...
