Nader, found this on a X-Box forum:
Thanks for the reply. It was not a pioneer DVD+R, it was some no name brand but it was highly recommended. I will save the additional $50 to get a DVD+-R/RW. They said that the brand name does not really matter, except that they really recommended Sony...
Whenever I open Word I get the error message "The macros this project are disabled. Please refer to the online help or documentation of the host application to determine how to enable macros"
I realise that this is probably a very simple thing. I have tried the help etc without success...
Are you trying to burn rented and/or bought dvd's? If so, you will still need the other program running in the background. ie I have AnyDVD. Clone DVD on its own wont burn copy protected movies. I'll pm a list of steps if you like.
Check out dvdrhelp.com. I use Clone DVD as the burning program. Also have AnyDVD which runs in the background which will get around copy protections. Very simple method. Three mouse clicks and its done. Clone DVD will allow you to edit out menus etc and just copy the movie only.
I have never tried any other method. The reason I have stuck with this one is :
1) It works every time
2)Its really simple ie about 3 mouse clicks and you're done. That suits a techno dud like myself.
I use Clone DVD. It removes all the additional crap and leaves you with just the movie (Which is all I ever watch anyway). Never had a problem. Burns DVD5 and DVD9 on to one DVD-R no problems. To overcome copy protection, run AnyDVD in the background. Cheers
