Yeah can tell he has made an attempt to grow on this album. Makes for a good listen although i feel it doesnt have as many stand out tracks as his last album, chasing yesterday.
Lazy Sunday Afternoon by The Small Faces is the song I believe your referring to. Given the similarities I imagine it would have to be some kind of homage.
The breakthrough single of their debut is also something of a cash in on the popular Stone Roses and Happy Mondays led 'Madchester' scene...
Haha your right, Im pretty sure Jason Derulo is himself a carbon copy of Chris Brown. Maybe its like a vampire movie where you have to kill the original incarnation (Brown) to destroy them all.
I agree, i was right up front at he BDO and on the lawn at the Music Bowl and both times they were amazing. Althought a little sloppy on a couple of songs.
I'm 21 and from my perspective Triple J seems like crap for hipster losers and people in there early 30s who want to act like they are still in the know.
Really enjoyable listen. It is great to hear a full album of solid Noel G. tracks after having one 1/2 of Oasis records since Be Here Now dominated by mostly average contributions from the rest of the band.
Just because they didn't have writing credits doesn't mean they didn't contribute to the general sound and style of the band. When Metallica started Mustaine was the one who brought initial attention through his guitar playing skills, he also co-wrote 6 tracks used on the first 2 albums. Burton...
Looking foward to the song and the upcoming album. I lost some interest in Oasis after Dig Out Your Soul, which I found quite underwhelming. However, Noel's first single and some of the glowing reviews he got from the media listening party for the album has built my anticipation.
The album...
Except that it is widely known that Blur initiated the competition by moving their single release date to coincide with the release of Oasis's 'Roll With It'. They also schedualed their tours around the time to be in close vicinity to places Oasis was playing on the same date.
Anyway here is...
I think you might find that it was Huey Lewis claiming plagiarizm on Ray Parker Jr. for stealing the Ghostbusters theme from the melody for 'I want a New Drug'.
Very Sad, I always wondered why he left Alice in Chains. They really did have the world at their feet after Dirt and Jar of Flies. Unfortunately the major theme of their music, drug abuse, proved to be their own downfall.
RIP Mike:(, I'm sure he's jamming with Layne.
They could have done with some more timetables when my mates and I rocked up at around 2.30 all the timetables were gone and we were forced to ask strangers if we could briefly borrow theirs to work out where to go next.
All in all aside from the weather it was a pretty good day. Slayer was...
Brilliant band! I remember discovering Weird Scenes Inside The Goldmine in my Dads record collection when I was 13 and playing Break On Through about a dozen times in a row.
For those interested a new Doors documentary came out recently called 'When Your Strange' with narration from Johnny...
Discovered this one the other day.
The opening riff from 'Moon Child' by Rory Gallagher (1976) was blatantly ripped off by Iron Maiden in '2 Minutes to Midnight' (1984).

GWAR was awesome but without a doubt the best band was Megadeth. It was the first time I have seen them live and they blew me away.
I thought Mustaine was pretty cool before but seeing him yesterday in the flesh brought him to an all new level.
Danzig era Misfits are my favourite punk band. Good songs by them to check out: Last Caress, Children In Heat, All Hell Breaks Loose, Death Comes Rippin'.
I've been playing guitar for about a year now and since I am self-taught I am not really well-knowledged on guitar brands and models and was wondering if anyone could suggest some quality acoustic guitars within a range of $400-$800.
I have heard good things about Maton if anyone knows any...
