Mondo Rock's "Come Said the Boy" was banned from airplay on 2SM which at the time was THE station in Sydney for music (now it's an embarrassment) but was owned by catholics. Cost the band the national #1.

Plus a few songs from the 60's that you may have never heard of, and The Ketchup Song (and I know the dance that went with it, well sort of)
I'm actually more of a Chill Down type of guy rather than pump up, in order to stay relaxed rather than get too hyped up. I've also used a few disturbing type songs to try to lighten the mood such as stuff from Sesame Street, The Chipmunks or Weird Al.
But when it gets serious, a one I try...
Neon Trees - Animal (most annoying too)
OVERPLAYED SONGS
Birds Of Tokyo - Plans
Lifehouse - All In (like the song itself, but they flog it big time)
Muse - Uprising (K-Rap song too)
ARTISTS IN GENERAL
Pink
Bon Jovi
Nickelback
Katy Perry
Adam Lambert
Freeway of Love - Aretha Franklin
For a while I was doing radio logs for another board, and I had 2 stations streaming on the net in one ear and the local station from the MP3 FM Radio in the other. NOT RECOMMENDED!
Occasionally flicked through when there was nothing on the tube when I lived with people who had AIR. Good to have in the background whilst doing something else, but with the number of songs I have stored on the CPU/EHD, I have other options.
