BBL Match 39 Perth Scorchers v Sydney Sixers 1910hrs @ Perth Stadium

There was certainly a limit of 5 leg side fielders last season. https://au.sports.yahoo.com/bbl-drama-erupts-after-adelaide-strikers-caught-in-illegal-move-231002493.html

Just going by a FB friends post, this apparently was the field for the final ball. No-ball?

You would think the morons would know how to spell a former Australian captain's surname correctly.

And Jewell. What a dumb shot to play on the third ball of the innings. He's been batting like a cowboy for a while now, pretty much swinging from the first ball he faces. It's not necessary - particularly tonight when the total being chased was quite modest.

BBL Match 29 Brisbane Heat v Hobart Hurricanes 1845hrs @ the Gabba

This is what the CA website is telling us. Hobart Hurricanes need 44 runs from 30 balls (D/L Method). RRR: 6.56 It's got the runs/deliveries right, but the RRR is still based on Hobart chasing 133 off 20.

BBL Match 26 Melbourne Renegades v Hobart Hurricanes 1845hrs @ Docklands Stadium

He was given plenty of chances but simply wasn't good enough at first-class level. He's certainly found his niche in the 20/20 format however.

I've been waiting to call them the Stinkers, now seems as good a time as any. :)

BBL Match 26 Melbourne Renegades V Hobart Hurricanes @ Marvel Stadium Weds Dec 29 1835 ACDt

20/20 isn't my thing, so I rarely watch it. I stumbled across this match on TV though and left it on. That was some display of hitting by McDermott, and then David came in and hit 30 off 9. Quite remarkable.

Lol. We've been in drought here for ages. The rain is very welcome. And there's still only one city in the country which has had an entire Test match abandoned due to the weather - and it ain't Sydney. :)

I'm totally with you on this brother. I have no problems with your position whatsoever. I don't have a dog in this fight either, I couldn't be more disinterested in the BBL if I tried.

It depends on whether you want to see an actual game played or not. I'm not always Plugger's biggest fan, but at least that is what he wants to happen. And I agree with him.
