He would bring other players into the game. If he didn't mark it he would tap it to advantage for his crumbers. He would clear the way for other key forwards. In the wet he would get 20+ and 15 marks as a CHF. He could kick goals from outside fifty and his field kicking was elite. He would run...
Possibly, but Barry Hall had a history of wacking players illegally and ending a few careers. His reputation was built on more than just the Staker act.
I work with some under 8 and under 10 Auskick players, new to AFL.
What should I be teaching them?
What should I be telling them about the spirit and the ideals of the game?
Are you the leaders of the best club in the land?
Are you the champions everyone should be aspiring to?
Well done Mr...
Didn't see all the games and certainly one game does not give much reliable data but it's always a bigfooty truism to draw long projections based on limited knowledge. Some are more insightful than others.
For mine
The Good.
Very happy with the recruitment of Waite and Higgins at North.

Afl should be happy with that. Am looking forward to the day when the playing field is leveled and teams win because of better tactics, teamwork or pure talent as opposed to financial or draft advantage
Great post:confused:
Daw's more than an athlete, he's raw yes but still managed to kick a bag of goals against his peers. He's not a basketballer who's just come across from the US or a sprinter looking for a career change, he has played a bit. Check out his tapes and look at his work ethic...
Why not take it a step further
How about a greek australians vs italian australians call it the Lonsdale vs Lygon Street cup
or
Scotish australians vs eastern european australians, the Mc's vs the ..vich's
seriously the idea of an allstars side has been around for a few years and has worked...
How about if a player plays 40+ games in two years the new team gives up their first selection
30-39 second
20-29 third
15-19 fourth
10-14 fifth
5-9 sixth
1-4 seventh
That way teams know exactly what they are sacrificing. Its not perfect but no system is.
One of the things I love about our game is there is no such thing as a complete footballer. In some cases pace wins in others strength does or height or stamina etc, it's what makes our game the best game on earth. For a player you just have to use your strengths to the best of your ability...
Agreeing with others for the sake of it is stupid, agreeing with Dawks supporters...what's beyond stupid?
As for the GC possible players how about N Ablett?
Similar problems but in Hong Kong, one of the most technologically advanced and connected cities in the world. Their excuses are just trash. They should set up something that works before trying to screw punters over an inferior product.
It's even worse from OS. I have paid for a 12 month subscription from march 2008 to watch games on the internet and they then sold off the rights to some dodgy provider in the UK. They have none of the archive material or any of the old games from past seasons and the team pages are empty...
I'll have a go at all the clubs, feel free to offer different opinions
Adelaide - Versatile Players who can swing forward and back,
Lions - Hard nuts
Carlton - Backmen and KPP
Collingwood - Flashy Half Forwards
Essendon - Ruckmen
Fremantle - Prolific ball winning Blondes
Geelong -...
Ruck - Cox
Forwards - Pavlich, Franklin (already got the best small forwards - Campbell, Thomas, Boomer)
Mids - Ablett, Black
Backs - Lake (we need a fullback), Wirrapunda ( I know he plays forward as well but he has just controlled games from the backline for the eagles at times)
Re: Sydney don't deserve an Footy team let alone two.
I think you have hit the nail on the head, once there is some cross-town rivalry I reckon it will generate a bit more press and publicity.
