That's a circular argument. You'll just have to get your head around the fact that the AFL is 100% committed to an equalisation policy. That means it will get progressively harder for the "big" clubs to dominate the top of the ladder. No longer will the same four clubs fight it out most years...

Had we been given comparable tv scheduling, fixturing and stadium deals as the "big" clubs over the past 20 years, we wouldn't need an equalisation fund or tax. Same for North and St Kilda.
