Tom Doedee - The fastest and most effective player replacement in recent history?

Rhymes with Too-Day. So I always think today before saying his name and then I still stuff it up every so often.

    Respect for Adelaide

No but he WAS pick 2 in a draft.

    Respect for Adelaide

But they were originally top 10 picks - which whenever anyone is talking about top ten picks on a list it is where the player was originally drafted that is the one and only qualification for them to be included on the list.

    Does Dangerfield exaggerate injuries?

Spot on - Adelaide fans have seen it many times before.

For Brad Crouch AND Luke Brown Martin - pick 3 Cotchin - pick 2 Caddy - pick 7 Prestia - pick 9

Hartlett Concussed, returns to the field

I suspect that they didn't do the test, even though they said he passed a vision test, because the club has to do the following: "The AFL in recent years introduced a 15-minute protocol, which states that a player must rest for 10 minutes after suffering a head knock before his club’s doctor...

Hartlett Concussed, returns to the field

Port actually have form with this in either not removing a player to have the test applied or sending them back out when they are not cleared by the test properly because they need that player on the ground. They have been fined by the AFL over their lack of following the concussion protocols.

    Certified Legendary Thread Squiggle 2017

Have you met us? In the last quarter of the 97 GF I had some Melbourne and Collingwood supporters sitting next to me telling me that my team had the game in the bag. I knew my team and knew we still had the ability to lose it from there. We didn't, but there was still the strong chance we could...

Considering that the players and staff are still receiving assistance because of what happened to Phil, it is still impacting the club as a whole.

    Certified Legendary Thread Squiggle 2017

2015 is a year that has to have the context of Phil Walsh's passing added to it. Since returning to play against West Coast, whenever the team had a good run of emotional wins, they would then fall in a inexplicable heap. The lack of consistency was pretty obvious. West Coast game - loss Port...

Who do you think will or want to win the 2017 flag?

Pity that champion data at the start of the year judged the Crows to have the hardest draw.

    Autopsy AFL 2017 - R10 - Liked, Hated, Learnt

I think it was hard for a lot of crows supporters in watching that game trying to figure out who did we want to lose more? That Paddy kicked the winning goal was about the only time many of us have liked him in the past year.

    Autopsy AFL 2017 - R10 - Liked, Hated, Learnt

What about Adelaide's start of 6 wins, then there is GWS with 5 wins after their first round defeat?

I was going to give you a like, until your very last point. That was close to my highlight of the weekend. Well, it made me very amused at the very least.

Silly GreyCrow, it's Adelaide supporters on BF. Of course, that win in that manner was not good and we are still crap and going to get belted on Friday night, like Freo were supposed to beat us last night.

Who can beat Adelaide? [Update: I was wrong. Someone can]

The 2015 finals series need to be considered purely within the context of what happened in July of that year and how the Crows performed from July onwards. They would win an emotional/tough game and the succeeding week there was a significant drop off in form (mostly resulting in a loss unless...

Who can beat Adelaide? [Update: I was wrong. Someone can]

We've had one of those before. Was quite enjoyable for us after half time and gave me one of my favourite pieces of commentary delivered by Tim Lane of all people, "Some Showdown. After half time Port haven't bothered to show up" ;) Unfortunately now there is so much vitriol between the two...

    Sloane

I'll just leave this here from our gif thread. Sloane is our Jack Russell Terrier. See ball, get ball and goes where ever the ball is.

Quite simply because he makes Basil sound halfway decent as a commentator.

GWS - be very scared II

This proves to me you either haven't watched any of our games or just can't observe properly. We are playing differently to last year. We have only had one so called Joe the Goose goal this season and it happened in yesterday's game. Our foward line set up and delivery in to it has changed a...

Autopsy AFL 2017 - Round 4 - What have you liked, learnt or hated?

You and pazza should have turned the other way and headed up to North Adelaide instead ;) Just like how if you point in any direction in Adelaide and head that way you will find a winery (eventually), it's the same with pubs (and we have more of them).

The Squiggle has loved Adelaide for a long time and we have loved it back (mostly). We know that the club has in the past closely monitored the BF boards and we meet with the club once a year as well to ask them questions and give (polite) feedback (much to some posters annoyance who think we...

Preview 2016 AFL Semi Final - Sydney v Adelaide, SCG, Saturday, Sept 17, 7.25pm

Sydney have only themselves to blame. Both Adelaide and Sydney were asked their preference for the game this weekend. The Crows wanted the game tonight, but Sydney wanted the longer break so a Saturday game. Sydney got their wish. This is why the Prelim dates were released early so that the...

Am I the only one who sees the crows as flag favourites?

Except that has happened before. In 1998 and it was done by us ;) Sydney in Sydney (they finished 3rd) Dogs in Melbourne (they finished 2nd) North in Melbourne (they finished 1st)

Autopsy AFL 2016 - Finals Week 1 - What you liked, learnt or hated.

Look at Eddie's insane mark in the last quarter. Richo is droning on about something or other that has nothing to do with the play currently unfolding and he has to be interrupted by BT that football was still happening! A great moment, that is ruined by the commentary from Channel 7.

Is Betts the best player in the comp?

Betts himself has said that he would have stayed if they had of come close to matching the Crows offer, not at the same level, but close to it. His father is unwell and he did want to be closer to him, but he also loved his time at Carlton and he cried when he made the decision to leave.
