What's really great is that we're in here talking about our team.. and then you're in here too, also talking about our team. I think talking about how attracted (or not attracted) you are to certain players is a bit weird but to each his own.
An extra GAJ at the drop of the ball though to win a clearance though? That elite disposal by hand and foot hitting up one of six GAJ's leading into space inside F50... KPD he'd be in trouble but that team would live or die on it's ability to win the ball back in midfield against whichever...
It was a great GF from a neutral perspective. Up there with 2018 for me as a neutral. 2009 as a contest I think has it and 2018 beat but it's difficult for me to adjudicate on that one as I'm a bit invested in that one.
I didn't say he played them once. I just said if you had a most goals kicked ladder and removed all the goals kicked against West Coast then Larkey finishes top.
Should take away all the goals kicked against the Eagles this season. That puts Larkey top of the Coleman.. after both Curnow and Walker kicked 19 goals each against the Eagles across 2 of the home and away games.
They've set themselves up now the Suns.. the Hawks will get Dew in 2027 in the mid-season supplemental draft as the oldest player ever drafted and play him at FF. He'll kick 6 goals in a BOG performance in an elimination final against the Suns.
I think the reason is obvious.. the guy who's job it is to count the interchanges on behalf of the AFL would've been creaming himself and waiting for them to exceed it, yearning for relevance. It's like a parking inspector standing by a meter with 6 mins left on it.
They deserve the year off after the amazing season they gave us last year. Enjoy the rest boys. And if you do want to make an effort in the second half of the season and be cherry ripe come Finals I will also be happy. Mwah, love you Cats :kissingcat:
I don't know about most disappointing, but I think the Crows would be the most disappointed. Comfortable lead against GWS and just seemed to put the cue in the rack early against a team with no interchange to speak of and let them back into the game.
Yeah, we miscalculated and were counting on the rivalry meaning they wouldn't want to just lay down and hand it to the Crows. We were wrong. Compare that to how the Hawks supporters have still come after the Cats after they were eliminated. Might not like them, but have to respect them :D
