Going by Paul Roos ranting and raving performance last week I would say he has lost the players. He is already gone in their eyes. I wouldn't be putting any money on the Swans.
Its business as usual for the AFL. They have shown many times they are willing to break their own rules to make a rod for their own back. They only really care about money, ratings and attendance figures. If Juddy is rubbed out the Blues fans will drop off like flies.
Haven't Gold Coast already started using Gary Ablett in their advertising? I think I read that somewhere. By doing that they are pretty much admitting they have already signed him.
I don't think they have given it to a player from a losing team all year so Gysberts is no chance. In any event Dustin Martin is way ahead of him and he shouldn't be penalized because on the week that Richmond win he played in the slop.
That's pretty funny. Even the media are saying his future is in doubt while some Docker fans themselves wanted him booted out. So its gone from a 'one off' incident to a 'two off' incident 5 years apart. You would have to be a complete nuffy to believe nothing else happened in that time span...
Does anyone care? Sheedy has been irrelevant for many years now and continues to remain irrelevant. Why would you pay any attention to him? He isn't even in the AFL.
Triple trouble leaves Johnson's future in doubt
I find the title of this article intriguing. Its like they are trying to hint at something without saying it. I am not aware of any third incident?
That maybe true but once its in the court of public opinion its a different story. Someone lied somewhere. Either Michael Johnson did not tell the club earlier or the Dockers knew earlier and did not inform the AFL. Either way, he should be on two strikes.
Kreuzer has probably been more consistent but at his best Naitanui has demonstrated the ability to influence games in a way that Kreuzer does not. Thats to be expected since Kreuzer has played 52 games to Nat's 19 and is a year older.
What, as opposed to Watts who got run down by a cripple in the goal square and couldn't kick a goal? I'll tell you what is pure fantasy - this thread is pure fantasy. Watts kicks two goals and Melbourne fans say he has already made it - turn it up.
Really? Pretty sure I saw Niknat carve you guys a new one in the 4th quarter last week, winning clearances from the centre and setting us up for victory. And you say Watts goes missing in the 4th. You can make all the excuses you want but until he is actually performing as you say he will its a...
I agree he should become a good player but he is a long way from that and he hasn't really been tested yet. Once he strings together some good footy he will start getting a lot more attention from opposition sides - just like Niknat.
Emerging Midfield star LMAO get you hand off it. He is in a good team and he fits right in but he is not a leader. When the chips are down, like in the adelaide game last year, he goes missing.
There is no question they are playing well at the moment and good on them. The new style of AFL football suits them and their players. I still think we are the only team that took it up to them physically this year and some of their players were found wanting. We didn't have the players to beat...
Nope don't deserve it. They were playing better last year under Jade Rawlings than under Hardwick. They were winning games of football with a worse squad. Maybe you should look at the coaches.
Its a fair question. Honestly I think our guys were a little over-rated to begin with. I was watching a game the other day from 2003/2004 and I was amazed at how many duds were running around in an Eagles jumper. It was basically Judd, Kerr, Cousins and a whole bunch of triers. We did fairly...
A number of factors. First of all they were very lucky to snare a premiership. The AFL also shut the loophole that they exploited. They have had some player turnover and other teams have figured out their game plan. Most importantly, other teams have improved more than them.
