Speaking of almost running players over, I almost ran Cotchin and Dusty over after they'd finished a clinic. They sprinted across the road in front of moving cars to Cotch's Jeep. Can only assume they were trying to avoid stopping for any autographs/photos.
I also saw Dipper leaving Crown...
I was under the impression that it was based on 2015 form, like every other team/award at this time of the year.
On a side note, I just wanted to say how rapt I am to see big Ben Brown as part of the initial squad. Highly doubt he'll make the final team, but to come to the AFL the way he has...
Right, do you realise there's a whole thread and forum section dedicated to jumpers? Might suggest you head over there to air your grievances instead.

Well Boomer's already had a couple. Arch had a couple. Robert Harvey had a record breaking jumper. Pretty sure the Hawks made one for Hodge but never wore it, only sold it to the supporters. I'm sure there's more...
Pretty sure you'll find the initial run of 400 jumpers sold out so quickly, and the demand for them was so high, that the club had to produce another lot to keep the fans happy. And I think you'll find the attendance on Friday night was influenced by the way the 'big' Melbourne club is traveling...
Do you seriously think any AFL player, no matter how he is perceived outside the club, would voluntarily ask to have their nickname on a jumper? People say there's no such thing as a silly question, but yours is the exception to that rule.
Must say it's refreshing to find a thread where Boomer isn't being totally lambasted (yet).
I can't help but feel after reading his list of achievements that I've taken watching Boomer play for the last 20 years for granted. I'll be keeping an eye on him tonight and cheering extra hard for the...
If I've learnt one thing in the 6 years Scott has been coach it's to not read too much in to his press conferences. You'll end up with a permanent confused look, a headache and a drinking problem :drunk:
We did go to the draft with 3 picks, along with Waite and Higgins. We've taken our first 3 picks in the last 7 (correct me if that's wrong) drafts. The drop off shouldn't be too bad, as long as we can start getting some consistency from the likes of Ziebell, Cunners, MacMillan, Wright, etc...
If this had of been 2014, Ben Cunnington would be the perfect nominee. Hasn't lived up to the standards he set so far this year (mind you, he's been far from our worst player). Maybe everyone else is a bit slower to catch on because of how underrated he was outside of the club?
I'd say this...
I'm just glad we're not at the level of the US sports merch...yet. If you want a good laugh, check out the NFL Shop. Something for every room in the house, every family member and every occasion. One of my personal favourites:
Just thought I'd add a little more food for thought to this thread:
Goldstein is averaging career-best figures this year for:
- disposals: 16.8 a game, up from 12 in 2014. Previous best 13.7 in 2011.
- contested possessions: 9.5, up from 7.5 in 2014. Previous best 8.3 in 2011.
- uncontested...
