I disagree. I think the judges need to be someone highly respected with an authoritive type aura about them.
"Guest appearances" from previous contestants works well though.
I say go with a combination of the following or perhaps even all on a rotating basis. Who says there has to be 3?
Marco Pierre White
Angela Hartnett
Guy Grossi
Alla Wolf-Tasker
Shannon Bennett
I fear the Channel 10 execs are dropping the ball on this one based on the names that are being...
Why not these female chefs?
Alla Wolf-Tasker (Lake House)
Kylie Kwong
Natasha Burnett
Angela Hartnett - (British). Worked with Gordon Ramsey on Hell's Kitchen. Thought she was pretty good on the Great British Chefs show.
Yep. Totally biased scoring as always.
One of the biggest things i won't miss from these judges. How the hell did Larissa's dessert get 10's with all the issues she had?

I don't necessarily think the judges need to have a tv reputation. Having a female judge with the right personality...
New MasterChef judges revealed: Chefs Poh Ling Yeow, Maggie Beer and Curtis Stone will take over after George Calombaris, Matt Preston and Gary Mehigan quit
3 new judges announced
Curtis Stone
Poh
Maggie Beer
Curtis - Ok... i can accept that
Poh - Not enough cred yet for mine
Maggie - No! Just no! She is a very good home cook, not a masterchef!
I think we are more than likely to see another Ice-cream or Panna cotta from Larissa rather than something new and creative. She is a massive one trick pony who just happens to be up against a bunch of very ordinary competitors.
This season of Masterchef has been a real let down for me.
I remember watching the first week thinking that the standard had been raised from previous seasons and looking forward to seeing what the contestants could become.
I'm now watching it thinking that the standard from who we have left...
