I want to kill off Vic clubs. The couple that that serve no real purpose other than provide a few more derby games for the bigger Vic clubs. The ones that don't really serve a region of Melbourne, the ones that only the few would mourn.

By the way Mergers or relocations won't happen. The AFL/Vic Government (pretty much the same thing these days) have completely sured up the Vic clubs because the AFL is now part of the Victorian "Sports Industry" and is subsidized by the Vic taxpayer.

Sure. We had a down patch, but then steadied the ship and once again caused a seismic shift in SA football. 2 Clubs in Adelaide makes sense. 9 Clubs in Melbourne does not.

It's a pity the VFL destroyed the VFA, a good thriving VFA would have been great for say North and Melbourne to play in. Still retain their clubs and playing in a really good second tier comp more appropriate to their abilities.
