Well that was my first experience of vfl footy and I am totally confused! You had Sandringham wearing blue and gold who are Melbourne's feeder team but with Hawthorn's song! You had Port Melbourne coming out to Melbourne's song playing against Melbourne's feeder team! Oh well, it was an ok...

What a day of footy! SANFL both games on ABC and now these 2 grand finals! Don't know a thing about the 2 teams in the vfl game so I will go for Port Melbourne only because I like kangas more than Melbourne! Who is in the WAFL GF?

I think they need to go for someone who is a magpie of old and try and get that old feeling happening again. The sanfl is a poorer comp with them down the bottom half. What's Cahill doing with himself these days?

Good win bays! But I am not going to go on and on with praise unless we beat West next week. Been burnt too many times by one off wins by us only for them to get flogged the next week against a much better team.

I have one of those but it is so old and is missing all the decal things. There are 14 spots on the AFL ladder so you know it has to be old enough! My one has Video Mania on the top of it who obviously had something to do with them.

Does anyone else here remember when Channel 10 I think, used to show the SANFL reserves game from football park each Saturday live? It was sponsored by the Eyewitness News I think? Being young and not going to games it was definitely a weekly highlight!

Well we finally put it all together today and played 4 quarters of solid football. Obviously we were strengthened by the returns of Mahoney especially and Schuback but all in all it was a major step forward for the Glenelg Football Club and quite possibly a day to kickstart something pretty...

I wish we could get the sunday sun here in Adelaide. Its sport s**** all over the Sunday Mails just as the herald suns s**** all over the advertisers. You get a broader view of the AFL. Having said that, I feel the Sunday Mail has greatly improved its footy section from last year.

North deserved the win. It was a tight game and our inaccuracy cost us. Our inability to hit a target was obvious, and quite surprising given the quality of our onballers. Just a few points on individual players - Mahoney - impressed me. Sure knows how to find the ball and I can only hope...

I'm right here, just been keeping low in the off season really only posting in the basketball,cricket and racing forums really. All fired up for a big SANFL season to see Glenelg take the flag, Backwell win the Magarey and Allison win the leading goalkicker!.............nah only joking! :D

I'm glad Glenelg are playing in the first game, that way I can watch that and then go at the end, beating the rush of cow supporters!
