Thread title said 2023. Ben Brown would be around 29-30 by then I think.
Why TT for a second rounder?
Edit: Sorry, 30-31. Still not out of the game I wouldn't think
What it means is there is a s***load going wrong at your football club that no amount of priority picks can compensate for.
The AFL should be telling your club to get their s**t together and when they can finally prove they are on the right track (jumping a few spots up the ladder) then perhaps...
Go back to my original post and tell me:
1. Why you deserve a priority pick given the amount of talent on your list
2. What difference is an extra pick going to make when you already have had far greater draft opportunity than all clubs except, yet you're still at the bottom
In response to your first point, i have done exactly the same for all other clubs in an attempt to have an objective comparison.
Your age profile is certainly an issue not doubt, though a priority pick is not going to address that.
I think many problems still exist. Most concerning was how...
Nah not all. At least I know I support a team that is going to have a genuine crack each week and not accept mediocrity. :thumbsu:
Sure, we may not end up being world beaters anytime soon, but at least we beat 4 of the top 8 sides this year and were in the hunt for finals until late. All this...
Good! I hope you don't!
I'm not that confident though...
Carlton have brought this on themselves so don't whinge at the rest of us when we get annoyed that the AFL are willing to consider such a thing.
Why? They clearly have enough talent already. Obviously there are many other issues at play with Carlton that need to be addressed first as just throwing priority picks at them is a waste of time
The below table represents clubs' 2018 player lists
To understand the "Points Ladder", I have awarded 5 points for a Top3, 3 points for Top4-10, 2 points for Top11-18 and 1 point for 2nd round.
Most teams have players that fall outside of the points classification due to the nature of which...
For Pick 4... list of preferences
1. Dow
2. Cerra
3 O'Brien (I would seriously take him before LDU, Rayner and Stephenson).
I'm tipping in 5 years time, O'Brien will be comfortably in the top 10 of this draft
We already have a midfield full of players with no tank and suspect kicking, so we...
Ummm no. North did not start it at all. We have always had a 1st and 2nd round selection in the draft. Get your facts straight before you go sprouting off with complete lies
How do you think Essendon wold go having to trade out a Dangerfield? Do you think they would get a similar deal done in the first day of the trade period?
Hasn't been able to get too many games this year which I think will decrease his value. If you were to get him with a third rounder, I think you will have done quite well.
Last year was his first year at our club and he started on our rookie list. By about mid year, I think we signed him up on...
Not necessarily. I remember one game in particular against you guys last year where Riewoldt proceeded to hand Hansen a new one for the first half. Pedersen was switched onto him in the second half and kept him pretty quiet. Very versatile player like i said and switched between fwd and back for...
Cam Pedersen?
Keeps getting BOG's every week in the VFL but unfortunately we dont have a spot for him at the moment. It also seems that Scott's priority is to develop Delaney and Black ahead of playing him regardless of his form.
Can play Forward, Back and pinch hit in the Ruck.
Personally...
