    Draft whispers, rumours & scuttlebut

No. 2 years minimum. You are better off blowing in the bag than refusing. Thats why the penalty is steep

    Draft whispers, rumours & scuttlebut

No choice really. If you refuse a breath test you need to a legit reason. ie Medically you can't complete the test, in which case you should submit for a blood test

    Draft whispers, rumours & scuttlebut

Really? Do you drive? Try it out and see what happens. Automatic 2 years for a first offence.
  4. Pedro

    Draft whispers, rumours & scuttlebut

First offence and its a minimum 2 years for refusing a breath test

Collingwood trading and free agency movements

What are the chances of Motlop leaving? And what sort of deal would be required? Handy player for sure. I'm not sure why people are still going on about Dangerfield. Not a chance in hell of being at Collingwood imo

    Heath Shaw - GWS Bound?

Josh Mahoney interviewed on SEN and when asked about Heath Shaw, he said he spoke with his manager briefly, and that was about it. It sounded a bit like Melbourne were told thanks but no thanks. I may be wrong, but it sounded like that to me. I very much doubt he'll be at Melbourne.

    Heath Shaw - GWS Bound?

That may be so. Doesn't mean he is gong to be traded for anything less than what we deem acceptable. There won't be a shortage of offers, regardless of what some here think of him. It won't be a case of taking "whatever we can get for him"

    Heath Shaw - GWS Bound?

Buckley still has the best interests of the club to look after. That doesn't involve 'taking whatever we can get' for one of our better players.
  9. Pedro

    Heath Shaw - GWS Bound?

Keep him. Buckley and Shaw can have a cuddle and get over it.
  10. Pedro

    Heath Shaw - GWS Bound?

Fair enough. He can stay then or find somewhere else

    Heath Shaw - GWS Bound?

At the same time, I don't think he will have nominated North without some assurance from North that they want him, or would be prepared to trade for him.

    Tom Boyd vs Jesse Hogan

He could easily do this. He's a freaky talent. Great use of his body etc etc. He looked more Sean Rusling KP size than Jono Brown KP size to me if that makes sense. Very mobile and agile but not necessarily a monster. Very strong for his age and size.

    Why did Richmond delist Gourdis?

    Gaertner?

Pies finished who is the No 1 target

Up until the last couple years, I actually rated Rocca as our most effective ruckman. He only ever did it in short spurts, but he was actually very good. I doubt he could do it anymore though. Not with the ankles and achilles problems he's had.

Pies finished who is the No 1 target

204cm is a bloody big fish. Cameron though isn't one, granted. But it is evidence of a willingness on our behalf to part with fair trade value. I doubt Brisbane are complaining too much.

    DalSanto,Kerr,Didak,Pick 4

    Priceless. You mungbean:o
  17. Pedro

    DalSanto,Kerr,Didak,Pick 4

Dal Santo is not something we need. We need a quality clearance midfielder, not an outsider like NDS. Just wouldn't make sense for us to swap Didak for Dal Santo imo. Regardless of who is better or worth more.

    DalSanto,Kerr,Didak,Pick 4

    4 Dal Santo's then? ;)

Daniel Harris on the trade table

Harris would be OK, but if it came down to our 1st round pick, I'd rather go to the draft.
  20. Pedro

    Trade Bait

We'd probably take that in all honesty.
  21. Pedro

    Trade Bait

At this stage you only have an early 2nd rounder though, which we'll happily accept;) On Egan, I don't think he's a total loss like some do. He has the talent imo, he just needs a slap around the head to get him going.
  22. Pedro

    Lovett to be traded

A pick in the 35-50 range.
  23. Pedro

    Trades at the crows

I'd be shattered if Collingwood went with that. Would rather keep Didak. We are light on for quality guys 24-28y.o as it is without giving away our best one.
  24. Pedro

3 way trade involving West Coast, Collingwood, Port

Wow. Kerr would be so far our most damaging mid it's not funny. He's had a s**t year, but he's been injured and looks disinterested. People forget how good this guy is when fit and firing. THere's no reason why he won't be able to do it again either.
  25. Pedro

    Trades That Just Missed Out.

Grant Thomas spoke about it a couple weeks ago. Cox was a whisker away from being traded to St Kilda when Gardiner was the main man and Cox couldn't ghet the game time he wanted.
  26. Pedro

BOOKMARK IT!- Didak & both Shaw's

The general consensus is that No.39 will get a reprieve. Be interested to know how close your source is. If you're right, will be a massive re-build. I doubt it to be honest. I think the dust will settle a bit over the next 2 months and heads will cool.

    Trade Week 2008?

Collingwood offered a first round draft pick plus Heath Scotland for Nick Stevens. I hardly think this is evience of trying to "rape" another club in a trade. In fact, I think it was more our reluctance to get raped by Port, who wanted a 1st pick plus Didak. Collingwood never became involved...
  28. Pedro

    Collingwood and its 1st rounder

Just what we need. More blokes who can't kick. Sorry, but we have enough of those.
  29. Pedro

    Trade Week 2008?

Examples please. This seems top be a common thought, but I'd just like some evidence please. What players have Collingwood made ridiculously low offers for?
  30. Pedro

    Brown, Fevola, Kerr

Oh no..Hutchy too. Face it mate, its all but done;)
