No choice really. If you refuse a breath test you need to a legit reason. ie Medically you can't complete the test, in which case you should submit for a blood test
What are the chances of Motlop leaving? And what sort of deal would be required? Handy player for sure. I'm not sure why people are still going on about Dangerfield. Not a chance in hell of being at Collingwood imo
Josh Mahoney interviewed on SEN and when asked about Heath Shaw, he said he spoke with his manager briefly, and that was about it. It sounded a bit like Melbourne were told thanks but no thanks. I may be wrong, but it sounded like that to me. I very much doubt he'll be at Melbourne.
That may be so. Doesn't mean he is gong to be traded for anything less than what we deem acceptable. There won't be a shortage of offers, regardless of what some here think of him. It won't be a case of taking "whatever we can get for him"
At the same time, I don't think he will have nominated North without some assurance from North that they want him, or would be prepared to trade for him.
He could easily do this. He's a freaky talent. Great use of his body etc etc. He looked more Sean Rusling KP size than Jono Brown KP size to me if that makes sense. Very mobile and agile but not necessarily a monster. Very strong for his age and size.
Up until the last couple years, I actually rated Rocca as our most effective ruckman. He only ever did it in short spurts, but he was actually very good. I doubt he could do it anymore though. Not with the ankles and achilles problems he's had.
204cm is a bloody big fish. Cameron though isn't one, granted. But it is evidence of a willingness on our behalf to part with fair trade value. I doubt Brisbane are complaining too much.
Dal Santo is not something we need. We need a quality clearance midfielder, not an outsider like NDS. Just wouldn't make sense for us to swap Didak for Dal Santo imo. Regardless of who is better or worth more.
At this stage you only have an early 2nd rounder though, which we'll happily accept;)
On Egan, I don't think he's a total loss like some do. He has the talent imo, he just needs a slap around the head to get him going.
I'd be shattered if Collingwood went with that. Would rather keep Didak. We are light on for quality guys 24-28y.o as it is without giving away our best one.
Wow. Kerr would be so far our most damaging mid it's not funny. He's had a s**t year, but he's been injured and looks disinterested. People forget how good this guy is when fit and firing. THere's no reason why he won't be able to do it again either.
Grant Thomas spoke about it a couple weeks ago. Cox was a whisker away from being traded to St Kilda when Gardiner was the main man and Cox couldn't ghet the game time he wanted.
The general consensus is that No.39 will get a reprieve. Be interested to know how close your source is. If you're right, will be a massive re-build. I doubt it to be honest. I think the dust will settle a bit over the next 2 months and heads will cool.
Collingwood offered a first round draft pick plus Heath Scotland for Nick Stevens. I hardly think this is evience of trying to "rape" another club in a trade. In fact, I think it was more our reluctance to get raped by Port, who wanted a 1st pick plus Didak.
Collingwood never became involved...
Examples please. This seems top be a common thought, but I'd just like some evidence please. What players have Collingwood made ridiculously low offers for?
