unless Melbourne give up something to GC (or some form of communication between the clubs is discovered) then it's impossible to say there was cooperation in return for GC not bidding on Viney
My source (who I won't reveal because i'm ethical and s**t, but don't worry he's entirely trust worthy and never gives me bad info) has told me that a certain player wants out of his club and that there are possibly 3 or 4 clubs interested in him.
but that's all the information I can tell you...
Re: More clarity on GWS U17yr old trades - no mini-draft
Blame the afl. They're the ones who created this cluster**** by not putting in place adequate compensation measures
The right sort of players but I think age will be a factor as well. I doubt GWS will want to go for anyone older than 26 at the start of next season. not only do they need immediate success they need to be able too sustain that success until their kids have fully matured and are ready to go it...
not including any of your forwards. Goddard, Montagna, Dal Santo, Hayes, Gram, Gwilt, Peake, Ray and Gardiner
how many more attacking players does Ross Lyon need?
what you're saying is that because Swallow won a B&F he is better than Higgins
what i'm saying is that club B&F's measure how important a player is to the club they belong to and isn't useful for comparing the abilities of players from different clubs, proven by the fact that even though Jones...
but he has better b&f results, isn't that what you were basing your argument on?
Jones > Higgins
and because consistency over a period of time is far more valuable than a single stand out season. Jones > Vince & Swallow > Higgins
:thumbsu:
Judd averaging 15 possession, 3 tackles and a goal a game. that might not be considered huge, but it makes him a very important part of the team from day 1
Hodge had a lot of OP problems early on iirc so wouldn't say he had much of an impact
It was described as(and has proven to be) a...
of course they're not going to be in AA contention or win a B&F in their first season. but that doesn't mean they're going to have horrid first years
they can comfortably fit into an AFL side, put in a season of solid games and do what the team asks of them. there have been plenty of top draft...
also I don't see what interchanges have to do with anything really
Melbourne were one of the highest interchanging teams in the first half of the season and we still weren't winning
