Even if Heppell drops to 8 I do not think Essendon will take him. They are VERY keen on Atley. Source: Anothony Miles (GWS recruit)

Bachar Houli wants out, to Richmond

I do not understand why essondon are not clearing out their list. Why are they using the minimum amount of picks?

Shaun Grigg to Richmond for Andrew Collins?

Re: Confirmed - Shaun Grigg to Richmond for Andrew Collins Richmond board in meltdown tomorrow. Type in Collins in the Richmond board search and you'll see how much love some of the supporters had for him!

CONFIRMED: #2 Richard Tambling to Adelaide for Band 3 compensation pick + 3rd rounder

Now lets trade 50 for Grigg Grigg and pick 26 for Tambling and 50:thumbsu:

    Tambling

To those fellow Richmond supporters who are claiming Tambo is worth more than a late 20 early 30's pick. Come on? I embrace a trade and if Tambling wishes to leave I believe Hardwick will allow him to. Get rid of him free up space on the 22 that hit the field. Tamling will benefit from a...

    Re-do the 2008 draft

Hill's my favourite non-Richmond player. Really exciting player. Amazing speed agility, poise and skill. Clearly the best player of the draft in my eyes. Very smart by Fremantle to pick him at 2. Rich is a good player at best. Hill> everybody in the 08 draft (not like all the players...

    Mitch Morton up for trade

Mitch Morton like Richard Tambling (more so Richie) would benefit from moving to another club IMO.

    Trent Cotchin v Tom Swift

I wouldn't. Swift would of been a top 5 draft pick the expert recruiter predicted, had he not been injured. He has looked fairly good for a young player. He won't be as good as Cotchin. But he will be in there top half a dozen players!

    U18 Championships Results thread

Re: National U18 - first two games Miles had 43 possies and 3 goals CLEAR BOG for NSW. I played a year with him at north albury. AT the time he was 15 two years younger than the rest of us and dominated! Will probley go first round. But definitely by 2nd round!

Poll - who will go first- Oakley-Nicholls or Thomas?

JON is ATM the worst player in a Richmond uniform....behind Graham and Pettifer!
  14. richcogs

    Sidebottom over Swift

Sidebottom is a gun! Will be one of the best pick 11's even taken. Just a pure footy player...got the skills, the vision and overhead. Such a strong draft was the only reason he ever lasted that long and lets remember he is only 17 (underage pick).

    Zonal Picks - Bullcrap!

**** me zonal picks are crap...why do Sydney and Brisbane need more of an advantage...its bullsh!t. They have featured in 7 of the past 9 grand finals and won 4. We've made 2 final series in 20 years...don't see us getting any advantages!:mad::mad: What do you guys think about them...

Why is Yarran such a good pick? He was rated to go anywhere between 5-16...he's alright but one of the biggest risks in the first round!

    Fremantle decide on pick 3

The top 6 I reckon will be Watts, Nat, Hill, Rich, Yarran and Hurley. Then your left with Hartlett, Ziebel, Vickery, Sidebottem, Trengove. If then Brissy then go Ziebel, Richmond will snap up Hartlett (very sure, rated very highly at Richmond). Then North will be able to decide between Vickery...

2008 Draft - TV or Radio?

I wouldn't compare it with the States...its massive over there. They have a ballet to decide where it will be held and all...a mini once a year 5-6 hour olympics. Its live on TV and gets big ratings. They build it up months out!
  27. richcogs

    Hartlett heading to Port...The Age

So what will it be: Watts Nat Rich Hartlett Hill Hurley Ziebel Vickery ????
  28. richcogs

If Kruezer and Cotchin were available in this draft...

Cotchin would definitely go to West Coast, they massively rated him last year!
  29. richcogs

    Thomson to Richmond

We got the best young developing backline in the league for mine. With the likes of Thursfields, Moore, McGuane and Rance (picked up at 18 last year) will be very good players. Thursty, McGuane and Rance though should spend a fair bit of time in the gym though:thumbsu:
  30. richcogs

Eagles, Dogs, Tigers try to do deal

Those talking about us giving up McGuane are deluded. He's definitely got to stay (he, Thursfields, Moore and Rance are untouchable IMO). I wouldn't mind given up Pattison. Hughes is the most uncertain but has the most potential and Schulz we should hold for 1 more year.
