I don’t really mind the injury for this year in the sense of this being a long term pick. If we can’t see him this season then so be it.
I’m more worried about the thought of it becoming a repeat issue and him being an injury prone type long term.
Why even wait for them to ‘come on quickly’? I think most would prefer to see the kids played rather than unremarkable older forwards who aren’t adding much to the team anymore.
I feel the same. Can’t help but feel that he’s like an under 16 out there playing against blokes with some of his kick attempts. If Big Mase can sort out his ball drop after not touching a footy growing up then I’m sure we could teach Callum how to as well.
Cool, was just wondering from that last post if the issue for Doc may have been caused with the +61 being in front of it but the 0 still being included as well. Probably not.
My text arrived very swiftly. Issue at the Ticketek end no doubt.
Yeah I think I can meet you guys at least halfway with that line of thought. Big Kev so far seems clearly more of a natural speaker in the field though, I don't think Walsh was camera natural at all when it came to discussing injuries. I also find these reports to be quite conversational rather...
Reducing the opposition to 21 would still mean an opposition player has to basically miss out on footy. Imagine if it happens in the first contest of the game then an opposition player gets told that his day is done, through no fault of his own and after doing all the warm up and pre-game.
It...
I assume that is the type of discussion taking place at the moment. Ideally though this discussion with all the relevant stakeholders would have happened long ago.
Hopefully the call is made later today, it will impact whether Ben Kennedy can play or not.
Would be useful to know pretty soon whether a 23rd player will need to be selected. The lack of notice on this one so soon before the season is laughable.
Really? I didn't feel that much love for Henry from the press conference. Bucks even spoke about pumping the brakes on the younger brigade from what I took out of it. The reporter was the one who singled him out, though him training as part of the A group would have to be a good sign.
I must say, my imagination led me to a very similar conclusion.
Also though, if we really want to show that we are serious now about a culture of acceptance and moving past racism then a partnership with Cheer Cheese makes a lot of sense.
From my understanding yes you’ll have the opportunity to purchase tickets in the away members window, but for away games you won’t get any priority above just a general admission member with away game access. Obviously the rules could change as well.
According to the Collingwood website at the moment, for round 2 (away game) all members with away game access can buy tickets during the same 2 hour window and that is it. Membership level doesn’t appear to be relevant for away tickets.
May have just been me but had a bit of a chuckle today reading that North Melbourne have found an 'official Cheese Partner', have since spent a fair bit of this afternoon thinking about which cheese brand would best suit Collingwood as an official cheese partner.
If it’s during the one of the membership ticket windows then I wouldn’t have thought so. You would need a membership barcode for everyone you’d like to buy for unless you want to wait until the general admission window.
