Strange anomaly that such a dominant and skilled team kept losing to a weaker Richmond team in their strongest years. Kind of defies logic to suggest the same team would dominate a much stronger Richmond team.

Accurate Richmond polls are all but dead on BF, the fake news trolls are ruining history. Makes this kind of discussion almost pointless, may as well get some Russian bots involved.
Rance is and will always be a better Backman than Hurley, there’s just no way anyone in football with an unbiased view will see it otherwise so it’s a pointless argument. However Hurley is a much better forward than Rance. He should be played there permanently, it would take the pressure off...
To put it simply both lists are coming into their prime and will have 33.333% of their players move into the "present" in the next 2 years... Should be a cracking rivalry.
My formula is based on age really.
Past = 29-120
Present = 25-28
Future =18-25
When a club gets 33.333% in all brackets it's a list primed for success.
Past = % of the list that are past their peak
Present = % of the list that are at their peak
Future = % of the list that have yet to reach their peak.
I'm the new David King.
A list is a reflection of the past, present and future.
Past
North 25%
Rich 15%
Present
North 35%
Rich 25%
Future
North 40%
Rich 60%
These are just rough %'s and how I personally see the lists from an age and talent point of view, it ain't science but it is my view.
Today Dimma mentioned that Dusty got his bench rotations right, he'd been staying on to long and running out of steam, he was still running on top of the ground at the final siren. Big year ahead.
It's subjective. Potential is regarded high in my analysis of our list, but potential is often over looked by opposition supporters, but not for their own as they know the intricacies of individuals in more detail.
