    Moved Thread Voss vs Selwood

It's embarrassing that this poll even exists. Voss easily.
  2. Schulzenfest

Who is the best young key forward in the league (25 or younger at the end of this year)?

Are we talking now or are we talking expectations for the future? If we're talking exposed form, Curnow. If we're talking for the future, Max King. Develop that kid right and he'll be unstoppable.
  3. Schulzenfest

Which of these young small forwards is most likely to become a top 25 AFL player?

Don't think any of them will become a top 25 player. Matera and Breust will be the best of them though IMO.
  4. Schulzenfest

    Luke Shuey vs Mitch Duncan

Shuey easily. Duncan will be good, Shuey will be great.
  5. Schulzenfest

    Kreuzer or Jacobs

This isn't just a guy who had a good game when it comes to hitouts. This is a guy who had the best hitout count in the history of the AFL. Get back to me when Kreuzer breaks a record for being the best in the history of the AFL for something...

    Kreuzer or Jacobs

Lol. So much denial. The fact that there was a single game in which Shaun Hampson was playing AFL and Sam Jacobs was playing VFL is a selection blunder. The fact that it happened multiple times makes it worse. Mate, I don't spend all my time on BF discussing every little selection decision...

    Kreuzer or Jacobs

So you think Kreuzer has played games in which he was more dominant than Jacobs in the game in which he was awarded the Showdown medal, broke the AFL record for hitouts and had more hitouts to advantage than his opposing number had hitouts full-stop? He shouldn't have played 'as many games'...
  8. Schulzenfest

    Kreuzer or Jacobs

In terms of pure ruckwork, Sam Jacobs played arguably the most dominant game that a ruckman has ever played at AFL level. Kreuzer has never done anything that impressive. He had 49 more hitouts than his opponent! He had more hitouts to advantage than his opponent had hitouts! Oh god, I...
  9. Schulzenfest

    Kreuzer or Jacobs

We're talking about ruckmen here, aren't we? Sam Jacobs' performance in ruck contests in that game achieved a level of dominance that no ruckman EVER has matched, let alone Matthew Kreuzer. Lobbe's a bit of a spud, but he's played about 25 games and nobody else managed to set the world record...
  10. Schulzenfest

    Kreuzer or Jacobs

You do realize Jacobs holds the record for most hit-outs in a game, right? Jacobs wasn't so much a 'trade blunder', because Carlton didn't chose to play him. But not playing him more when he was at Carlton was a selection blunder that ended up costing you a guy who should've been an...

    Best Tagger

OK, I get that Kane is past his best and all, but he's behind Patrick McGinnity? Kane's left nut is a better tagger than Patrick McGinnity.
  12. Schulzenfest

    Kreuzer or Jacobs

If we started a poll every time a Carlton supporter said something stupid, the Internet would break.

    Brent Reilly vs Steven Salopek

I think that saying things like 'Poort Power' and 'Steven Sallowpecker' outside of the Bay not only shows that you have the maturity of a 10 year old, but will also probably get you carded if a mod notices.
  14. Schulzenfest

    Brent Reilly vs Steven Salopek

Please, please never leave the Bay again.

    Andrew Raines

There isn't much better on Bigfooty than a biased poster making a poll supremely confident that it will go their way and having it go against them.
  17. Schulzenfest

    Andrew Raines

He's a good tagger. I don't think you could carry him and Crowley in the same team, but other than that he'd get a game anywhere IMO.
  18. Schulzenfest

Best big forward in the game.

Buddy, but I voted for Walker because he shouldn't have less votes than Pav and Tom Hawkins.
  19. Schulzenfest

Who will win the 2013 premiership?

I can see Collingwood getting their injury list in better shape and bouncing back. But I thought they'd win it in 2011 too, so what do I know?
  20. Schulzenfest

    Rory Sloane v Dan Hannebery

Sloane had the better year, but Hannebery was just robbed of the Norm Smith, so I'm sure if Sydney had the chance to go back and swap them they wouldn't. Hannebery has proven he can perform on the biggest stage of them all, Sloane (through no fault of his own) hasn't.
  21. Schulzenfest

    Harry O'Brien vs Josh Hunt

Not a big fan of either. I guess O'Brien for his line-breaking and his flexibility. Also he's not a squib.
  22. Schulzenfest

    Jay Schulz v Kurt Tippett

umad that Schulz averaged the equal 5th most goals in the competition this year? More than players like Clark, Petrie, Nick Riewoldt, Travis Cloke, Jonathan Brown, Adam Goodes and Jarryd Roughead, and level with All-Australian Tom Hawkins? Not bad for somebody who's apparently not even a solid...
  23. Schulzenfest

    Jay Schulz v Kurt Tippett

umad my poll is making a mockery of your overrating of Tippett?
  24. Schulzenfest

    Jay Schulz v Kurt Tippett

Tippett gets double teamed because (when he's in the forward line) he plays deep and generally doesn't move around too much because he's waiting for contested marking opportunities. Much harder to double team predominantly leading forwards like Walker and Schulz.
  25. Schulzenfest

    Jay Schulz v Kurt Tippett

The amount of Crows supporters making excuses for Tippett without realizing that those excuses apply equally if not more so to Schulz is amazing.

2007 AFL Draft, 1st pick vs Last pick (aka. Kruezer vs Walker)

Walker is super underrated outside of SA. Clearly the second best forward in the comp behind Franklin IMO.
  27. Schulzenfest

    Jay Schulz v Kurt Tippett

Good news guys, we can add jo172, ADL9798 and Crows4Flag to the list of desperate Crows supporters who have put themselves down as neutrals. What a pathetic supporter base. Real poll results: 22 votes to Schulz, 17 votes to Tippett.
  28. Schulzenfest

Was Chris Yarran's goal of the year contender even a goal?

Yarran 100% definitely ran out of bounds, the question is whether he carried the ball out of bounds. If he did it was only for a split second. Seems odd that his inside foot is clearly outside the boundary line in that screenshot and yet according to the grid the ball that he's holding in his...
  29. Schulzenfest

    Jay Schulz v Kurt Tippett

I didn't start this argument. I made this thread because some w***er said that no neutral supporters would take Tippett ahead of Schulz. And what's your reasoning for that? What has Tippett done this year that makes him so much better than Schulz exactly? It's certainly not get the ball or...
  30. Schulzenfest

    Jay Schulz v Kurt Tippett

Yes, those silly numptys who think an extra goal a game is worth more than 0.7 disposals and 7.5 hitouts a game. What absolute numpties they are.
