Daniel Rich is potentially elite while Beams is a good blue collar player. Beams is doing well but there are quite a few from that draft with much more potential. Some examples: Hill,Rich,Hartlett,Nic Nat. Some of our other guys like Rockliff and Cornelius could also overtake him.

I don't think he'll win it but if he keeps up his current form Rockliff is in with a chance but more likely he'll be top 5.

Brisbane > WCE > Gee Voss/Lappin/Akermanis/Black + Hart/Power/Headland etc are untouchable.

One reason could be there are many more Hawthorn then Brisbane fans on BF. Take away the Lions/Hawks votes and you might find Rich is comfortably in front.

Rioli is a very good player but have to go Rich as he's more damaging IMHO. Once Rich gets his stamina up and improves his possession count he will be the games best mid. Look to his two 30+ possie games last year to see how damaging they can be.

Remember the Lions took out Port in a QF in 2001 and a PF in 2002.

Yes you can but comparing brownlow votes of an experienced player vs a player in his first season is unfair. Give every coach in the league the choice and I reckon all would pick Rich.

You can't really compare brownlow votes unless you compare Gibb's 2007 season or wait until 2011.

Depends on how Mclean & pick 11 go probably won't know for a few years at least unless McLean spuds it up next year and pick 11 debuts and looks promising. At the moment it probably leans slightly towards Carlton as McLean is a proven player.

Both close in terms of talent but the deciding factor will be the Saints hunger which will get them over the line IMHO.
