I now have all of those books to complete, I was reading them while reading the main series in the suggested reading order and it worked well

Deadhouse Gates done for the second time. It's not as fast a read as Garden's but it introduces some more major characters and gives us some time with Fid and Kalam

My physical copies of the Malazan books started arriving so I've begun the reread an I'm hoping that the ones on back order that I haven't yet read show up so I can continue past where I stopped on Kindle in 2020 Currently on Book 2 Deadhouse Gates

Just finished Gardens. He really introduces a lot, you just don't understand the importance of most of it at the time.

Finally got around to putting a Booktopia order in so I'm going to be starting this again with physical books once they turn up. I got up to Blood and Bone on Kindle but I really prefer reading actual books so looking forward to going back to the start and enjoying it all again

His point of view is rather flowery. The sections written from his point of view are good but I don't know if I'd want a full book from it. It's kind of more fun when it's mixed in with others views of his actions

Yeah Tehol and Bugg were great. Reckon there was a limit to how much Tehol you could have though. I think he got it about right.

The Crippled God is done. So that's the main series finished and I'm halfway through the Novel's of Malazan series as well. Next up will be Orb Sceptre Throne but probably not today

Get the Novel's of Malazan as well by Ian Esslemont. They intertwine with the main series and some of the characters you've met already get more time in it
