Points of Interest:

Carlton and Fremantle have the same 3-1 win-loss tally going in to the game, with only percentage keeping the navy blues on top.
Carlton are hurting after losing to Essendon on the weekend with Carrazzo, Laidler, and Yarran all succumbing to injury.
Doubt still surrounds Sandilands and Fyfe as to whether they will line up in the match, despite the club's positive prognosis.
Brett Ratten's wife is expecting their 3rd child the day after the match. Will his mind be elsewhere?

It is with great aprehension that i give my prediction, because I rarely tip us, because i always get bitten. And at the start of the year, i thought we would be 1-4 rather than 4-1... however, If sandilands plays, I think we can get hold of the blues.

Well I have tipped us, but I am not confident. I think that there will be some great match-ups all over the ground, and a better looking game than our last couple.

Hope Sandi & Fyfe get up, if they do, 18 pts,
if no, maybe a goal at best.

Fyfe to come back into the side for a BOG performance, no injuries and we get the 4 points by running them out in the last qtr.

Freo by 17.

We've also generally sucked in the first two quarters barring Geelong where we only sucked in the second. It's like we just stem the flow until the second half and that's when we bring our game

Yes good point. He's the one that gets the quick transition and accurate ball inside 50 happening.

I recon your spot on with your match ups,Creepy much fitter than last year should be a good match up with Judd.....if not working give McPhee a crack,Mzungu can run all day and is much fitter/stronger than last year and should be able to make life difficult for Murphy.
The small forwards for Carlton will be the problem , so will have to make sure supply is limited

creepy used to play well on judd a few years ago, before he became a fatty. that would be an interesting duel, and yeah, mzungu is the only one with the durability to run with murphy who we wouldn't necessarily have to sacrifice other elements of his game to play the position, ie. hill.
garlett's a real worry. not sure who's quick, nimble and smart enough. wonder if spurr or JWK will come in for him...

We have had a longer recoverry time and if we play like we did against the saints, but with at least *some* improvement in the clearances and first-possesion department, I can't see us losing

Getting first ball and denying Carlton a chance at an inside50 will be pivotal - also home-crowd advantage! get every man and his dog down to Subi wearing purple and screaming their ****ing heads off!
