Channel 7: the clean up of the cyclone may be able to begin as early as tomorrow night.

Channel 9: the flow on effect of the cyclone will drag on for days maybe even weeks

Throw a dart and it'll land somewhere I guess.

Watching C7 news the other night and Pete Mitchell did a live cross to someone in NSW, with the leading statement of, the man being swept away just around the corner from where the reporter was reporting from. The response from the reporter? That's right Peter, 250km from here????????????????????????

Hervey Bay copped huge rainfall. We have family in a hilly area out of town but they stayed put and haven’t seen the damage in town or lower lying areas.

Just went to Woolies with a list of about 30 items. No fruit and veg, no meat, no bread, no milk, no frozen food at all. Came away with toothpaste, Jatz crackers, a tin of tomatoes, a tin of salmon and a Kit Kat. Got a couple of avos and apples from the nearby produce shop.

If there was any sniff of a cyclone in Adelaide there would be no toilet paper left for a decade.
If there was any major wet weather event here in SA the whole place would be 10m underwater.

Not set up at all for a heap of water and the ground has never felt more than a few mm of dribble every 6 months
