Bad luck, Dragons. We tried hard and did well to stay in the game all day but just fell short in the end in what was a pretty tight contest for the entirety of the match. We were perhaps a bit lucky to be that close given the Wonders struggled in front of goals for most of the day.

Chief was best afield for us I thought with Strigoi, T2B_ and Bradesmaen also having strong games on the day. Hatchy1992 has slotted seamlessly into the full forward role it seems and played a strong hand up forward to kick six goals, a fine return to the key forward role.

Disappointing to lose first up at home but next week is another opportunity, we are back at home as well so will be good to play in front of the home fans again in Round Two.

Hello and welcome back to the Dragon Spirit Award. With T2B_ getting a promotion, it is I, Pie 4 Life who is taking over this role. So we're back for another season of Qooty and it was a Round 1 clash against the Wonders. In what was an entertaining contest that we have conveniently forgotten the end result and move onto next week, we voted on our favourite (or least disliked ) opposition poster. For Round 1, and the the first person to be spared by the Dragon (See above) is Brenton Davy !

We kicked off Round 1 against the Wonders, and considering that this was the second week against the West Coast mob after the pre-season matchup, the numbers aren't half bad with 413 posts for a 44% match total. Strigoi (96) led from the front in her 100th milestone match, with great support from the sophomores in DragoDelph (48) and Braklet (48), as well as Pie 4 Life (43), A Swallow (31) and serial_thrilla (25).

We definitely want to get our total match poster count up though, with 13 posters contributing all up. No time like the present - this week we're facing the Swamprats, so let's all get in there.
