-scott is passionate, is assertive and decisive in his speaking
-everyone back in great shape and keen to impress
-new facilities coming on really well should be in by the 23rd of Nov
-thats a step forward, and shows how serious we are staying in melb and being a powerful club
-he focused on strengthening his knee last year, now getting more miles into it, he doesn't think about it anymore
-disappointed in JWS but can understand, but now the club is moving forward
he will be a great pick up if he can get on the park
-its unfortunate as we have one of the best records in the last few years regarding injury
-did back the winner in the cup

very short and sharp interview, Watson meant to say were the facilities sub standard not our staff in regards to having to travel to docs. He sounded geniunly sorry and seemed like he had good intentions.
Well done H light hearted and confident. Everyone seems impressed with B Scott

This is a good summary.:thumbsu:

It was an excellent interview by the big fella. Said all the right things about our medical facilities and Smith's decision to leave. Said it was a shame to lose him because he is such a good player, but didn't say he was a 'good bloke' as well. Instead, he said it will give a young bloke an opportunity.

Also said he backed Shocking in the cup - but it only made up for his losses on Saturday.

Thanks TT, I really liked how he didn't begrudge Jesse or any other clubs but made it clear it would give another guy an opportunity. Hoping Uruquart can be that guy, not too different in stature and attributes in my book. Also the fact the guys are keen to impress Scott really makes me think we will have players going "hell for leather" so to speak. Heres hoping H can progress on what has already been an impressive 2 out of 3 seasons. Much the same as all of NM really....

I just hope H can run as well as he speaks.
Come on big boy, get your fitness up.
He's one of our talls so there's a good chance he's streets ahead of the smalls at this stage, based on results!

As a personal trainer I can honestly say that a 3km time trial is not a true indication of a players match fitness. The fact that he is so slow would just be because of his size. He's a pretty big unit so getting all the engines firing and moving that heavy body isn't an easy task. Sort of like a truck really. Very slow off the mark but once their moving their unstoppable :D

One thing i found out with the vid on H is he doesnt just want to be in the squad in the AA team.He wants to be picked in the side which is a great goal of his.He has 5-7 years left imo and he needs to make a huge statement next year to reach his true potential.

According to the social pages in the Sunday Hun Hamish and Ms Raleigh have parted. By the way this was a huge article, the centre pice of the Confidential page. If this affects his form then Lymerick owes us a detailed explanation!
