Doesn't scream like he currently has faith in us then
He signed on when we finished 17th. Everyone panicked when Tom Mcdonald didn't sign on earlier this year, but hey he's back. If anything Hogan is not desperate to get back to WA and is happy playing here at Melbourne.

I don't think that changes what I'm saying?
If he wants to wait until next year to sign to gauge which club is closer to success, he doesn't have a lot of faith currently

I could supply some the aforesaid barnyard animals of the blow up variety if you think that might help, they make the appropriate noises, (or so I am told)!! Would certainly add another dimension to the weirdness of how this thread is trending!!
Bookmarked.

We will hold you to that when the time comes.

Well that was just Watson and Carey talking crap they wouldn't know.

There was a reporter (not sure who) who said Melbourne have told him Hogan won't be asking for a trade but won't be signing on in the near future. The other guys just came in and speculated that he'll have all these options to choose from. I Probably shouldn't mention what those bozo's speculate.

He also hadn't even played an AFL game when he signed that extension.

I don't know exactly what economics entails but I know someone who could be worth a shout.

How fussy are you?
Economics easy, applied econometrics hard. I could probably just finish it myself over the next few hours but I'd really rather drink a half bottle of bourbon and do some sleeping.

Have a drink and a sleep and relax. I'll get my guy to contact you. He's known by most as 'the comb-over'. He's rumoured to know his stuff - not sure where the rumour originated because most go out of their way to avoid him, but you can't altogether ignore jungle drums.

Hogan said he would decide by the end of the season didn't he?

If this is genuine uncertainty by Jesse then I can understand it but it seriously sets us up for a big fall if he decides to walk next year.

Im not sure we can put ourselves in that situation.

:thumbsu:

My intervention was well meant, but I wasn't fully convinced about the value of my offer.

On the plus side, I wrote 4000 words plus on the concept of divinity in Shakespeare tragedies once and got an HD from a comparatively recognised university (well, compared to non-universities anyhow). Apart from some red circles around a couple of sentences that I started but forgot to complete, my inebriated thoughts referenced at random to a pile of books worked out fine. Happy drinking.

Talking footy saying that have strong word out of Melbourne that Hogan won't be asking for a trade this year, also Hogan won't be committing to Melbourne for the long term this off season. Melbourne also will not be putting him up for trade.
There goes 2017. He's proven he can't play with the speculation, his form was shit in the last 3rd of the year when all this shit started heating up. Next year will be twice as bad.

Can't be a daddy issue, if it was, he should want out asap. Reckon he still doesn't rate the MFC.

Fyfe and weller or kennedy and barrass or gtfo. If for no other reason than i'll do myself in living in Perth with these W@nkers if we get shafted... Jesse please think of the children.

For what it's worth, I think big Jesse is staying. He wants to up his value, and we'll literally pay him anything next year. Especially if it looks like we'll be getting dust/wcedockersplayers in return. A big year next year and his value to us will be immense. I think he'd be silly to sign now. He holds all the cards and its not like the MFC will be giving the best young forward in the comp an ultimatum. The speculation just adds more $$$ to the offer.

I wasn't being hostile. Slightly condescending if anything since you had a crack at me for discussing something with you, that was contained in the post you quoted of mine
I assume you've never read any of my posting if you think that was hostile

Although your first sentence is funny, in context of the rest of the post  I notice not much response to what my post actually said though
I'm going to say this as respectfully as I can - hopefully without further escalation. There's a point when I feel the need to disengage from your style of discussion. My posts state what my thoughts are on Jesse Hogan, the person, and what his behaviour means to me. You've gone off on a tangent as far as I'm concerned as far as responding to my posts. None of your contractual talk has exposed any falsity in what I've posted - simply because I'm talking qualitatively on how I feel about helping Hogan to his destination. I haven't spoken about contractual particulars. Of course we have to honour the terms of his current contract - that's the extent to which I'll talk about his contract. My posts on Jesse Hogan are like everybody else's - personal thoughts made in an information vacuum. There's no point going toe to toe with you on things when there's no real objective in mind, as far as I'm concerned.

I'd like to leave it at that, if that's ok with you.

Ralph was on and seems to think Melbourne are slowly pushing towards giving an ultimatum as they obviously don't want it to run into next year. He still spoke as if Jesse wanting to move would be a shock to Melbourne.
Ralph, like usual, was guessing. Not an ounce of weight more to what he had to say than anyone else's opinion.

But you will definitely join the new movement of whore for Hogan, yes?

I feel I can rely on you.
